it's a reproduction lens. that's what it's used for. flat artwork. what you use this for is for taking photos in museums of art, maps, documents etc. this lens is made so you can document/create or reproduce stuff that is significant enough to be done flawlessly and to hold up forever. trust me there's a market for it that most of us mortals have no clue about.

incredible lens. but feels very specialized in it's purpose. at-least for video keeping a subject in focus would be difficult
