Me and my girlfriend had to break up, not because we didn’t love each other, but because her family couldn’t accept anyone else that was outside of her culture. I’m so upset because we still love each other, but we can’t share it anymore. We did everything together and it was the best 9 months I’ve ever had. I’m so so sorry Naomi. It seems all of the hurt just goes away, and then you’ll have one bad day, and feel like all the progress went away, and it rly sucks. Sometimes when I have a hard day, I feel like I’m wasting my time crying, or why can’t I get through this by now? But crying and healing takes awhile, especially when it’s an emotional hurt, and it’s important to just feel all you need to feel. I pray that there are so many good days ahead for you!!! You have personally helped me through a lot of emotional hurt, thank you for sharing all of this, it really helps others going through this! Ilysm❤

Everyone says you have to get over it but a lot of the time people don't understand that is a process with ups and downs and it takes time. As someone who broke up with their partner over a year and a half ago, it's reassuring to know that it's not unnatural to take more than just months to get over someone.Yeah it's become more easy and I'd say im happier now, I just think a part of me will always love her and still be hurt by the way she didn't love me, if that makes sense

Hey Naomi... so I've been watching your videos for over a year now and I think you are a really sweet, likeable person, so I would like to give you some constructive advice, even though I'm afraid it might sound a bit brutal or judgemental and what I'm saying might be inaccurate for you situation in the fist place. Basically, I've been in a similar situation in the past but it was slightly less painful and important because I was a bit younger in age. However, I really think that this experience you went through carries a very important message you can learn from: although feeling what you felt was inevitable, I think it's wrong that you suffered so much because of a boy...I think it means that in general, in life you should take a moment to acknowledge your priorities, what really matters to you, because a person you meet and fall in love with, will make you feel very strong emotion, but on a very deep level, they should NEVER mean as much to you as your moral values, your virtue and actions, your family, unless maybe you admire them very much, your sure they are a very sound, beautiful person, and you are planning to spend your life together. I really think it's important that you put things into perspective and think on a really really deep, existential , soulful level, what really matters to you throughout your life...I don't mean to be macabre, but I often think what will truly matter when I'm on my deathbed....if you find what is truly important and fundamental to you, you won't lose your sweetness and ability to love, but you will be a lot stronger, and you will be able to "fix" and help people better because you will be more deep and sound. I know you have already acknowledged some of these things, like when in the video you said that you didn't respect your own boundaries, but I just think that, as girls and in general, if a boy/ man or anything so incidental and frivolous hits us on an existential level to the point that we can't eat, that mean we can work on our priorities and ambitions. I really hope this doesn't come across as rude because I really love you and your videos, and I hope I'm not being blind or hypocritical in writing this. My finance of 4 years emotionally cheated on me and then left me when I tried to fix us.
