This game had such an awesome soundtrack, and this theme was the best of the lot. Omega Red was such a badass in this game, and this amazing theme just made him even more so!
I actually legit remember playing this in the arcade in 94/96 on the Sega Saturn. Before when I saw it at the arcade in a laundromat was the very first time I saw a secret character known as Akuma be selected. How time fly's by.
@@alexisfab2057 That one is good but to me it sounds too "indian" for Omega Red, it almost sounds like a theme Dhalsim should have had. (interestingly enough they are always paired up in that game). This one just fits Omega Red a lot more in my opinion.
0:45 alone makes it better (think of it as his tendrils retracting) Case in point: that part is very downplayed (if not completely non-existent) in MSHvsSF.

His life depends on how much life force he absorbed from humans. He does this forever or the carbonadium will destroy his body. But still yah, he’s a psychotic super soldier. That’s why his theme sounds melancholic
His story is kind of sad :/ He has to basically be a vampire to live and doesn't want to be anymore that's why he is in search of the thing that can make him not have to drain souls to live anymore!
Classic Marvel villains almost always have a backstory that makes them more realistic and relatable. And Capcom did their research to incorporate that spirit into the music every single time.

Omega Red was SUPREMELY cheap in this game, he was able to cancel his omega strikes, chain them into his regular moves and stun you in 3-4 moves.
