DVSLTD would like copy of the pdf file
valid date need to be put in the vehicle list excel file otherwise will give you "invalid format" error.
Great webinar but you missed how to install the ALPR VER 4/7 camera too open gate/boom for wiring to the gate motor install and does it need another basic relay and 12v power supply to run relay to the gate wiring plan would be great also what’s the correct preferred way of setting the camera also black/white list threw the nvr 4200 16 port or directly threw the camera itself thanks
Thanks, actually if you are just controlling the gate with clean contact its ok , relay needed to reverse output or use power 😊
Hi, can ANPR be insaltalled in a 2mp hikvision DVR system? And will it give very good results?
Hi Dave, please help me out! I have a customer earned to install a LPR camera to open the gate by using whitelist and alarm output.
But there is one thing..... Can you make a simple connection diagram to open the gate.
The gate is working with only making contact. Just short 2 contacts on the board of gate, then gate will be open. Now I think that I need a relay for it. Which relay I need and how to connect it. Please help me asap.

Hi Alexis, you don’t have to use IE latest models come with plugin less firmware for other browsers, I prefer IE as some options in special functions just reside there that’s all
@@DVSLTD Maybe mine has old firmware. It definitely only works with IE and it wants the files only in .xls
Great Video, any idea how control or reduce interval time OCR from 5 sec pulse to 2 sec pulse , case scenario back to back or tailgate cars
in the past HIK have made us custom firmware to achieve this , do you have a HIK BDM that you can contact , if not let me know your region and I can find a contact

really useful video but still struggling with mine, playback shows a nice clear sharp well exposed image of the number plate in day and night time settings, but the ANPR will sometimes read forward plates, (occasionally rear ones) and then go for days not reading anything. Iris Auto, Auto Iris Level 10, exposure 1/1000, gain 5, focus manual, day night triggered by video, sensitivity 2, filtering time 30, smart supplement light on, manual, high and low beam 100, no backlight settings, noise reduction 20, scene mode outdoors, Firmware V5.6.10 build 191023, model DS-2CD7A26G0/P-IZS - if you can help would be so grateful as having some suspicious late night movements.

ANPR we would always recommend the I series NVR range

Hello , the Gain is the IRIS level gain that can be set to enhance the light level , we set it to 20 as a general rule of thumb but can be changed per installation

DaiTech, you do great work explaining things. Question: Can the Black/White excel file be imported remotely from the IVMS-4200 software or only with the NVR?
If you can login to the NVR or camera remotely you will. Either port forward to the camera or better still use a vpn or remote into an onsite pc to make the change. We use a micro pc to do this sort of thing that just sits on site for remote access when needed.

only via camera or NVR , you can do it via 4200 and device management and remote configuration of the NVR , but most prefer to now use HIK-Central to input plates as text direct 😊

Question #1: Hi I have the DS-2CD7A26G0/P-IZHS ALPR Camera, I am using the DS-7608NI-Q2/8P-4TB NVR. I noticed the NVR doesnt appear to have any features to control or view the license plate images. Am I missing something here? Question #2: Should I add a SD card? Question #3: I also added a NFS share to the camera and I noticed it saves mp4 and pic files. It doesn't appear in the Pictures tab. Any advice? Thanks in advance. Great/helpful video btw.
I am not to sure on the Q series NVR as we don’t sell these in the UK just the K series and I series models, I would suggest the Q does support it but can check if needed, you don’t need to install a SD card specifically for this model to work , most use the SD card when installing the camera remotely and to collect the plate info to upload later, or to have recording on camera if network outage occurs. The image won’t show in the Pictures tab if you save outside of the camera, and SD card would save on SD and allow view and search on web if required
@@DVSLTD I added a SD card to the ALPR and its working well. I did notice the base lense has a realistic range of about 20m. I am going to upgrade to the better lense to truly get 30m range. On the other topic, I decided not to use the NVR with the ALPR camera. The SD card is perfect.

where is the error being seen ? on the excel speadsheet or HIK-Central software?
can i serup the license plate capture on rhe nvr it self or it has to be on the camera
also what is rhe latest fw for the nvr ?
Hi . if using the NVR then best to setup on the NVR and set the appropriate linkage action, if using the camera in isolation it supports the list directly also on the camera

can I count number of cars with this via NVR ?
We don’t do car counting with the NVR but you could search plates in a time period and therefore count how many plates have been read as a crude method
@@DVSLTD that could be a way but will it be easy enough read it via the NVR interface without export ?

The excel was not working because you forgot to put the expiry date
Actually you don’t , if you leave it blank it used the default end date , it was a format issue but appreciate the feedback its nice to get input 😊
