Agreed, it's better than before but you can still sometimes hit a zombie from 5 meters away with a small weapon, makes it unrealistic. These are the chiv devs, melee needs to be flawless or what's the point
if the one map gets booring, why not play user created maps? I am sure they have modding support thinking about where they come from and how good the original nmrih was with the modding community. Does it have user made maps and modding support?
I think the core gameplay is trash. Like you stated at the beginning there needs to be other ways to escape. Feels like everyone is rushing to the chopper that you don’t have to do the side objectives. You just run from point A to point B and during that time you kills zombies for maybe 1/3 of the game. Feels like there is a lot left to be desired.
They are adding sprint stamina too, so I think that might help with the sprinting past 90% of the zombies. That with infection mechanic is going to lead to more deaths. Right now even nightmare difficulty is pretty easy. I'm just glad they got the melee attacks and the lag sorted out as well as the glitches.
@Nuggz1 All I'm gonna say it has that stamp of cash grab with a few years of life support(similar to the suicide sqaud trash game) that will be thrown away the secone they can. This us coming from a guy who had THOUSANDS of hours in the Og NMRIH. I consider it the chad's left4dead.
@crashthedarklordplays2668 TB does have problems with long term support, chivalry2 was abandoned for no reason. Playercount still solid, not out dated, they hold a monopoly on good melee combat. They just laid off a very large portion of their workers, so they very well might abandon this game once it flops on full release, just like mirage arcane warfare. Their game prior to chiv 2

Game is lookin better...thanks for the update! Never could find your original playthrough vid though...please add link, i'd love to see! =)
Probably in the live streams playlist. But the game was buggy as hell during my first playthrough

Can we just get a game mode, where players need to work together to traverse a map and extract like the first game.
i know they updated it but i want more better hitbox whatever the devs can do to make it more immersive and better gore like dead island 2 ect

Not yet, games only been out like a month
Thorn Banner with modding support? Lol. Id be flaberghasted if they could code a lvl based player balance system, let alone mod support
Im keeping a side eye on this game, i've got a buddy willing to enter the zed zone if its...not as bad as launch. Good lord that was bad.

@@Nuggz1 Bro no stamina in A NMRIH GAME pretty much proves the games absolute dogshit and probably will be abandonded in a year or two.
@crashthedarklordplays2668 the game is early access, or in other words, not finished. They are adding things based on player feedback

@ekardt my other excuse, doing voice over is harder than you would think. The video is 5 minutes but cutting around all my fuck ups takes hours
I'm pretty sure that this voice-over is ai.
Definitely not, I wrote the script and maybe I had chat gpt clean it up a bit but that's all my voice
