Thank you for the excellent review and for showing the larger nibs fitting into the slots, because I was very confused until I watched your great video!
I just bought this set at Ross for $2.99. I like writing with fountain pens so I thought I'd try this set. Will take some practice, but it'll be a good addition to my art supplies. Thanks for the tip on using alcohol to clean the nibs.
@@inkseer It will take me some practice, but I'm sure I'll like them. I love writing with my old Schaffer School fountain pen. I've had it for years. Found it in a drawer in an abandoned office at a place I used to work at. The whole floor was empty and I just happened to check the right drawer and found the pen.
@@stevenA44 Don't you just love magical little finds like that? I've always wanted a fountain pen... I'm guessing that the ink flows very nicely out of them.
I just bought a speedball pen and ink combo at michaels and it cost me 20 canadian! Why everyone else getting the good deals. Mine feels cheap. About to try it. Hope it’s decent
How can she be so knowledgeable and naturally skilled and not know that the dropper is to put a small amount of ink in another smaller open mouth vessel to facilitate the "dip" nibs and not risk spilling the big bottle as often? Thanks for the vid and good luck, hope ya never do knock a big bottle over though, it SUPER sucks....
I just purchased this set and am having difficulties with nib scratching and getting caught on paper which then causes splatters. Any tips or advice? THANK YOU,
Hi Krafty Kat. What kind of paper are you using them on? If the paper is too rough, grainy or textured, a sharp nib will catch onto it. I would try using paper that is very silky smooth (there are papers out there specifically for pens/markers).

Which of those would be equivalent to the G pen?
I don't think I'd recommend any of these to substitute as a G pen. I don't remember them making thick enough lines.
Great tutorial. Please which kind of ink di you us
Hi, thanks. I believe the ink I use is Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay Black India ink.
