In my opinion, if you want to bring out the best of her, get Gnosis. With his s3 + frozen enemies got fragile, you can make sure almost all her ammo will deal super high attack

I'm glad I watched this. I was talking to my friend and told them I didnt think the talent was a good thing. I normally bring Eunectes with me and I've had her almost as long as Ive been playing the game, so the archetype's faults 99% of the time aren't an issue for me anymore. That being said, I did say that I think Auroroa's module should give her res while not attacking, it'd turn her into a Phalanx defender lol can bait and take aggro from certain enemies while having higher defensive stats than a normal Phalanx Caster.

I absolutely adore her. Her second skill wrecks most enemies, and she cute as heck. On the other side, she kind of yawns before attacking an enemy standing in front hitting her for some reason, which I also consider adorable xD.

It's nice to see your critical thinking is improving You did ruin it in the conclusion though, Aurora is particularly bad for newbies. When at low level you're forced to stall elites, not kill them, Aurora won't change that, especially because most bosses can still hit her once or twice in between freeze procs (Eunectes S2 on the other hand would be pretty good for that)

Aurora is that kind of "awesome but impractical" operator. Not counting Conviction she actually has the best single damage hit that can go even further beyond with further external buffs or fragile effect or def debuff on enemies. This is due to her S2 have a massive damage modifier when the enemy is already frozen, But keep in mind most bosses are immune to freeze and enemies that aren't tend to have pathletic HP that die quickly anyway
That being said, F2P like me should just keep her at Elite 1 at worst case. There are many more practical operators for destroying enemies such as Exusiai and Ifrit
She had beautiful art and fits perfectly into my preferred build (very defender heavy with enmity guards) and will be an awesome addition to my roster.

Not exactly. One thing to note is the high DP cost, which implies a high stats unit, whilst duelist guards are signifactly cheaper, and thus can be deployed quicker/more regularly. Also, they can charge skills whilst not blocking stuff, which makes them way easier to use.

Wasn't too keen on Gnosis but really wanted Aurora regardless of if she was good. Pulled 20 and got P3 Gnosis and my 6th copy of Astesia instead.
