Hindsight is bittersweet. Thank you for sharing so others can benefit from your story. I wish I was better equipped to help my ex partner when they had there first psychotic episode.

Thank you for this video!! I know have my own social media, where I talk about my personal experiences as a mentally I'll adult, but have asked my mom, who is my caregiver, to add her story, before I share this video to my 2K reach. Our story is different, but all stories are valid. My main goal is to let people know they are not the only ones going through things, but also want the other people who love those who have a mental illness, that their story and experiences are also just as valid, and are also not the only ones.
    Again, a million thank yous.

Bipolar - if you haven’t got it you won’t get it - and you won’t get it if you haven’t got it

My brother is bipolar and doesn't tryst the medical system and therefore won't take meds. He's obsessed with conspiracy theories. My sister in law took him to a therapist and as soon as the therapist knew he would not take meds she was done with him. After a year my sister in law divorced him. He sees his kids but avoids work and any other responsibilities. He is very argumentative. We include him in out family gatherings but we dread it.
