I apologize in advance as I hate to be negative, but the sculpt and tailoring looks totally inaccurate as it's recycling the much younger sculpt from the previous release (you can even see the holes for the glasses) and the suit looks way too big and stiff as a simple Google search can easily show. I'd LOVE to purchase this figure but I don't see the effort Hot Toys usually puts in getting their characters right.
I’m not gonna lie, my enthusiasm to get this figure has severely dropped after watching this video. I got the Marty 2.0 and I love that guy so adding this Doc was a no-brainer. Emphasis on ‘was’. But after seeing that this Doc has indeed the exact same face sculpt as the 2015 version (I was holding out hope they would do an effort to rework it as they did for Marty, but nope), downright to the little holes for the futuristic glasses, which they didn’t even bother to fill up, I just can’t justify getting him for the current retail price. And then the plutonium case is made of cardboard? Come on Hot toys!

What even adds more insult to injury is that I also have the Neca Doc Brown in this suit and the likeness on that 40€, 7 inch figure is infinitely better than on a 330 something € Hot Toy that is supposed to be renowned for their lifelike sculpts. They majorly dropped the ball on this release.
Nice job not mentioning the head sculpt elephant in the room. If sideshow had any class they’d offer the figure sans head for 150-175 bucks and let us go get the headscultp we deserve.
Will order it, but man, recycling BTTF2 Doc Brown's head sculpt is pretty lazy. You can even see above the ear where head meet there's slit hole which originally use to hold the BTTF2 silver one piece 2015 sunglasses.

An excellent on boxing I would love to own dark brown as well as Marty McFly but if I got those two pieces I would have to get a DeLorean and I do not have room for that so definitely be something I'll have on the back burner but I'll be keeping my eye on all three for a while

Looking forward to the deloreon I’m sure it will be great. And bring a biff or a George or anyone else from the movies…we soon will have 3 Marty’s 3 docs and no one else.

Doc’s head looks amazing 10/10, but I still believe all 1/6 scales figures in the future should have 2 head sculpts for now on. Unless it’s Superhero/Villain Mask and/or PERS (parallel eye rolling system) system, the two heads that should be included Natural/smile and a expression one. Best example is Joker 2.0 (The Dark Knight) or Pennywise (It 2). This head sculpt also a recycled better version of BTTF2 Doc from 2015 but it the same expression.
Back to the future deserve better, that recycled head sculpt is disrespectful towards the fans and the movie, Hot Toys couldn't fill those holes for the sunglasses that this version doesn't come with.... Lazy!
seriously they have not covered the holes where the glasses are put on the head, every day more disappointed with hot toys, even the clothes are not right, the clothes are to big , it seems that it goes inside a white garbage bag
You should release version 2.0. Because using a sculpt from another figure for that kind of money is just unacceptable! The only reason why I didn't take this figure is because I didn't want to have 2 figures with the same head. And you should add Einstein to the set for Doc, not Marty. After all, Einstein was Doc's dog.

Agreed… however, I’m just glad they finally made this version of Doc. I’ve been waiting for this to drop since the first HT’s Marty came out years ago

Yeah, looks like Doc had his rejuvenation treatment way before he went into the future, the plastic surgery kind.

It's exactly the same head. You can see the little hole to put the glasses, that got on head from BTTF2 Doc's figure. Sad...
