    Something to be said for a simple IEM form factor. I have SoundMagic E50s which are like a stubbier barrel-shaped version of the Finals. They sound so-so tbh, but the cable untangles so easily without ear hooks and you can just bung them in and get on with your day. No fuss’n with over-ear fit or getting a reliable seal.

      I haven't been into Headphones since few months ago. Before, I always got UrbanEars (5 of them) and those were just for fashion, didn't sound so great. I've only tried Sennheiser MM70i, KZ ES4, Doss Audio BE3 and a couples of others (can't even remember the name) and the Doss Audio BE3 has pretty good bass, really bassy. But I stick with KZ ES4, good headphones for the price, and the ability of cable upgrade. Still looking for some other options for future upgrade.

    Pretty happy I just found your channel 10 mins ago, trying to decide between getting one of the KZs, the Tin Audio T2, and the TRN v80. Honestly I still can't tell what's the better deal. Do you have a definitive answer?

    • @JeffJacquesmd
      @JeffJacquesmd 5 років тому +4

      I own the T2, the V80 and the KZ AS10s. The V80s are v shaped but very pleasant and non-fatiguing. The T2s have good bass, decent treble and meh mids. The AS10's are probably my favorite of this bunch. if your budget were higher I prefer the BGVP DMGs, to all of them. Just great neutral SQ. Hope that helps

    • @SuperReview
      @SuperReview  5 років тому +9

      The answer for ME is pretty easy, but what anyone else will prefer is hard to say. My favorite $50 and under is the Tin Hifi T2. The T2 Pro is even better, but costs more + requires Comply tips, pushing it closer to ~$80. The V80 has nice bass, but it's a bit too sibilant for me. Most of the KZs have pretty recessed mids, which I miss. The ZS10 has pretty good sound, but doesn't fit my ear. The AS10 fits well, but the mids are pretty recessed for my tastes. So for me in this price range, it's E2000 vs. T2. T2 has more pronounced mids, good for vocals. E2000 has more pronounced bass, but still decently even. What sounds more appealing to you?

    • @joefilter2923
      @joefilter2923 5 років тому +2

      Not_Kevin I like the E2000 more than the v80, which has a hot treble and congested mid bass. The bass slam in the v80 is nice though. That said I like the E3000 better than the E2000 which is brighter and thus eventually fatiguing.

    • @joefilter2923
      @joefilter2923 5 років тому +1

      Btw, having been burned by KZ earphones I’d probably opt for the AS10 over the other zs10.

      Will depend on your preferences. AS06 is more solid V sound than E2000, both are fairly warm. I like the treble on AS06 personally, E2000 is pretty tame in the treble. If you're bothered by treble, that's a good thing. My favorite IEM under $100 is Tin Hifi T3. But it's pretty different from the others, bass is more neutral (I guess), and there's more upper midrange and treble (more forward vocals).

      They both have strengths. I think E2000 feels more controlled and more spacious -- AS10 might be a bit sharper, but the treble can come across a bit hot some times. I like the form factor of the E2000 quite a bit more, smaller buds fit my ears much better and the KZ cable is wearing on me. That said, I JUST replaced the cable on my AS10s with an aftermarket cable from Aliexpress...which is nice.

      Really what I've realized is pretty huge: When I first started getting into headphones, I was looking for the "best" headphone, and thought that once I found it I'd be satisfied. But it turns out there's no such thing as the "best" headphone, and really the fun in it is trying different types of sounds and enjoying them for what they are. Not everyone's in a position to keep buying new headphones, so it can be frustrating, but IMO there are a ton of really good ones out there, and as long as you get a good one you're doing OK. And the AS10 is one of the good ones.

    • @SuperReview

      Tin T2 personally. The E2000 has stronger bass and much more relaxed treble. E2000 probably fits better, too, but I still prefer the sound of T2.

      M6 Pro 2G is more fun, more of a V-shape sound versus the E2000's warm sound. M6 Pro 2G has big soundstage, too. I just hate the cable.

    I can't believe you prefer these over KZs. I could not hear anything but bass in the E2000. So annoying.

      With a single DD, that's probably the whole point of these... i guess?

    • @SuperReview
      @SuperReview  5 років тому +2

      The mids seem more present on the E2000 vs. pretty much all the KZs I've heard, no issues with sibilance, and they're more comfortable for my ears. That's why I pick 'em.

      @@SuperReview Thanks for responding. CCA C10, Final E2000, Moondrop Creascent, or Co-Donguri Brass?
      Sorry if that's a long list, but could you say what you think beats what in terms of sound quality (meaning clarity, detail, texture), and then the differences? For example, the CCA C10 is the worse of the bunch in sound quality, but has slightly better soundstage than all of them except the Creascent's, which has the least bass, etc.

      Super* Review Thanks for the reply. I really hope I didn't come across as a troll with that comment. I really like your vids and subscribed to your channel. The reason I'm not big on the unboxing is my opinion of a product usually has very little to do with the packaging. I'm looking around my studio and out of everything here I only remember how two of the items were packaged. But I think the unboxing section of your videos is still very important because for some people the packaging is like the first impression. And even though it doesn't interest me very much product packaging is an art and science. Keep up the great work 😀👏
