I've also tried all three and I'd go w the e2000 hands down. The 3000s just don't sound as good. They don't seem to have better bass response, they are just muffled to me.
They recently announced the E3000c and E2000c, which adds a mic, and answer/play button, but no volume control.
every review i see on these is different, I wonder if final is mix matching these.
To me, inline controls/mic ARE the deal breakers.

it's semi-open, it doesn't really leak, it's meant to promote clarity, not sure about soundstage

E80C is A Gem But Build Quality is Very Very Poor. Cable Wears Off Within A Year.

Sure, but remember it's all my opinion! Let's say the EarPods are around a 6, I would put the E3000's at a 7, and the E2000's at an 8.
