That's indeed a very light helmet, but it's the older version of the RPHA-91 and the rpha90 has in the meantime been phased out. That is why it was not taken into account. Same goes for all the phased out models of all the other brands. We've only showed the helmets that are currently in the market.
Another excellent review. You guys are miles ahead in your approach. One of the few channels that spares us a lot of bla bla. I love your approach. Had a question though: to what extend will 100 grams weight difference be noticeable?
Love the reviews. Wish you guys also had suomy helmets. The tx pro is fairly cheap ece 22.06 and would have been top 3 on this list "according to the manufacturer weight"
wow i didnt know glamster was that light. but i still prefer the k6 for my all arounder light helmet. its hard to get use to light i barely use my other helmets 😅
Helloz congrats for your channel. Its the best!!!! Can you advise some helmets that are slim. I want to buy one but i dont want to seem an alien with big head 😂
Wind noise is also more about design than weight. Some lightweight helmets may have less padding, which can lead to more noise, but many high-end lightweight helmets have excellent noise reduction features.
The ventilation in lightweight helmets often compares well to standard ones. Ventilation is more about design than weight, and many lightweight helmets include advanced ventilation systems.
A reduction in weight should not compromise a helmet's fit or stability. If the helmet is correctly sized and adjusted, it should fit snugly and securely regardless of its weight.
Many professional racers do prefer lightweight helmets as they can reduce fatigue and increase comfort, especially during long races. However, safety and fit are always the most important considerations. Thanks for watching
Glad you enjoyed! The price range for the lightest motorcycle helmets can vary widely, depending on the brand, materials used, and other features. They can range from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand.
A lighter helmet can potentially reduce rider fatigue, especially on long rides. The less weight your neck and shoulders have to support, the less strain you'll experience. Glad you enjoyed!
Appreciate the support! Lightweight helmets are tested for safety and durability the same way as any other helmets. They undergo impact testing, retention testing, and penetration testing to ensure they meet all safety standards.
I know you didn’t had MX helmets in your test, but the ls2 mx471 xtra carbon only ways 900-1000g ! Lightest helmet I ever tried (you have to wear Goggles though!)
Not sure why was HJC 90S CARBON not included in the modular category
@@defylifeadventure I use this and its really a good one.

@@Bunter1815 seems like someone wants to get rid of existing stock? 🤔
