I live in Ontario Canada and hear the laughing gulls every day at work. I've looked through my monocular and it definitely looks like the laughing gull. They just float around on the lake all day making their weird noises. Lol

It’s Inches Not Centimeters Use Inches Imperial System Not Centimeters Or Millimeters The Metric System
The United States Does Not Use Centimeters
Thank you. Yes, please more ID video content comparing similar species; gulls and shorebirds. Thanks again!
You’re welcome!
agreed, i'd like to see something with peeps like this one.
Also the underwing patterns are wildly different. That is another great way to tell them apart in any plumage.
Great point!
This one was very helpful, Gulls in general are often times very difficult to ID.
Glad you enjoyed it, Todd!
Hey guys I just saw you got a shout out in Birdwatching magazine. Well deserved. You are such good birders and have great content.
I enjoy seeing laughing gulls at the beach coast of the Florida panhandle.
Nice!

Thanks! Might I suggest that when you give lengths, to give standard along with the metric? This old-timer would sure appreciate it! 😉
Haha sure thing! We’ll try to include that or a similar sized bird in the future.
Great guide to gulls, guys!
Thanks!
It’s Seagull Not Gull
I’ve Seen Laughing Gulls In Hempstead NY I Thought They Only Live In New Jersey Never New York
Great video! Thank you!
You’re welcome!
Oh that pink/blush colour on the breast is so pretty against the black, white and grey. They are handsome birds.
Definitely!
Love it
