Thanks for the video. Considering today’s the Winter Solstice, a birding trip in May was appreciated.

Derek and Ryan you might want to add to Leslie's video that the yellow-rumped ( Audubon's Race ) that I have here in the West , Warblers also love eating grape jelly during the winter in my yard they love going to my grape jelly feeder .

It's worth noting that very rarely drab immature Audubon's warblers can completely lack all yellow. I've only ever seen two of these and they are kinda wild.

Normally I'd say yes, but in the last week I've had a Loggerhead Shrike, A family of western meadowlarks, and a Say's Phoebe in my yard. No lack of bird diversity here fortunately!

When you said that might get split in the species for yellow rumped warbler, I’m like Yep taxonomy seems to do that.

I gotta say I have an affinity for the Blue-gray Gnatcatcher also. They're quite a challenge when trying to get a good photograph! Looking forward to Spring of '23 on this first day of Winter, '22. Thanks, guys. Happy Holidays!

Oh man! Y’all had me excited for a minute there. I thought you were seeing early spring migrants already! You can tell I’m already wishing for spring 😂 I did not know about the gnatcatcher eyebrows! Something new to look for! I have some Butterbutts and Golden-crowned Kinglets here in TN for the winter. They’re nice to have around. Thanks for another great video. Looking forward to seeing what you find in the coming spring.
