Vegas Great Eats! Hidden Gems Off Strip - Filipino Feast & 3hr Multi-course Feast!

- The Vegas buffet gets better and better but I guess there sometimes is Too Much of a Good Thing. I am all buffeted out and looking for something light and comforting. I decide to venture outside the typical Vegas locations; away from the Strip and away from Downtown LV. Many great gems are found just a few minutes outside the Vegas Blvd area around the Henderson Area and the Chinatown area.
So in my search of some small and comforting cuisine, I was halfway there; while not small, I found great comforting Filipino cuisine at Full House Restaurant. A little bit of Pancit and Kare-Kare would hit the spot perfectly, And wouldn't you know it, curiosity got the better of me; with Oxtail soup on the menu, I had to try! But then came along the Lumpia, Buria Chicken Burger Filipino style, a whole Crispy Bungus and to top things off, a flaming Halo Halo. And while this was a lot of food, I was able to back it up for meals throughout the trip.
But as evening comes, there are some spectacular places for great fun and unique dining experiences. A short ride to Chinatown brings us to @sparrowwolf6406, a well known eatery in Vegas with amazing memorable cuisine & libations at great value! With the chef's tasting menu and pairing, there were endless delectable dishes and sophisticated spirits, cocktails, and wine. A truly memorable experience!

Two incredible meals, so beautifully prepared and served. What a culinary pleasure watching each dish arrive, whether ordered or compliments of the chef. Tim, I can no longer travel and so enjoy coming along with you. Your delightful descriptions of everything seen or eaten makes me feel I am experiencing it firsthand. The two featured restaurants in this video are examples of both outstanding food and outstanding service. I believe this is my favorite video and I plan to watch it again. Cheers! 🥂🌹🥂

Tim, when Filipinos give you a complimentary dish just say thank you! It's a gift from the heart!.. lechon pronounced well... pan -sit.. not pan seat that is the way to pronounced that..

Hi Tim, new subscriber here. Going to be in Vegas in early Oct and will definitely check out the Full House rest. This is Filipino food looks to be so well prepared & delicious !!! At 6am in the morning got me craving for it NOW.
The fusion food in the tasting menu just looks off the charts. Amazing creativity and some lovely people service it! If I ever go to Vegas this will be on my list!

The way you got treated in that place speaks volumes for the staff. Shure they treat everyone great not just influencers. Awesome looking food also especially the oxtail soup.
Really enjoyable indeed and the servers, hosts, and chefs were all amazing. Agreed! The table next to me with Joel and Alain were locals and recieved the same hospitality. Really nice to see 🙂

I would ask locals in Las Vegas where they eat. They probably know the best food places at reasonable prices. I was told Vegas has great Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, and Cambodian restaurants.
Oh yeah! I got quite a few recommendations especially for Chinese and Thai places.

It's so nice you are going to a place that caters to the regular folks. It would be nice if you would make more videos showing small Mom and Pop restaurants of all cuisines. I've heard the Brazilian barbecue ones are amazing! There must be plenty of American ones too. Southern soul food and Cajun, Texas style also.

Thanks for replying Tim, many people don't take to time to respond. I find this rude that they want us to watch their videos but don't take the time to give us some feedback. I have only been watching your work for a few months now, but really enjoy your videos. You have a culinary knowledge that is amazing to me. Many of the foods are pretty fancy stuff. They look yummy though. Like I said, please show us some smaller Mom and Pop restaurants and off the wall eateries that cater to more of the regular folks, not the rich and fancy. There is too much of catering to the rich and fancy places that are way too expensive for common people. I don't think those kind of people watch videos about food and fancy restaurants.

TIM- My personal favorite is "Imperial Seafood and Sushi Buffet" it is off the strip as well- BEST places are "OFF THE STRIP". There is also a Philippine Buffet in Vegas... so much variety now compared with 10-15 years in the past when the STRIP was about it! ***FREMONT area is super-cool too, I like Binion's Steakhouse!!***

One of my best friends growing up is Philippine , her mom made the best Chicken Adobo and other goodies, everything looked delicious! Enjoy Tim.

Well I see that Sparrow and Wolf was not a small Mom and Pop restaurant but pretty gourmet. The bartender was funny as well as very skilled. It all looked so yummy! I live in Asia and these American prices are shocking to me. $135 for a sampler. But if you can afford it why not!
Yeah, it’s a bit on higher end and a bit of a splurge. Dave is quite the character, indeed. Very good people there and very enjoyable evening.
