Long story short: I don't care who you are - the "Deluxe Edition" is NOT WORTH it. If you are a casual player that enjoyed MMOs or ARPG's with some online-gameplay, I would say the standard edition IS WORTH IT. If you are a hardcore gamer, I would still say it's worth your money, but to proceed with caution. As a PC player since launch, I quickly accomplished all the available content that the game has to offer. Whenever new content is released, it's often completed within days. If you are hardcore, expect some disappointment with new content down the road. What do you guys think?

You’re just going to come across hundreds (maybe thousands) of skins and transmog opportunities, and there’s some pretty cool mount skins available (free and for purchase) out there already. Plus, they have an in-game store where $20 could probably get you a decent handful of stuff. It’s all good though, if you plan on going hard on the game and stuff it’ll just be sprinkles on the fun experience!
I could never properly play NW on PC as my laptop wasn’t good enough. I am happy to pick this up on xbox series x to enjoy it in 4k from my couch. It does not require a subscription which puts a smile to my face. Nice that it comes with 3 year of content for €59,99.
I played a while back on my brothers older gaming laptop. was only able to play about 30 hours over a few weeks then kept getting errors and having to delete and re download. I seriously can't wait to play this on PS5. ( I love RS but have stopped PC gaming and only use my laptop for college and work now) so having something that fills that void and is not class/weapon bound makes me happy.
Im casual and I loved playing this game and still do. Have taken my longest break from it over the the last few months, but still look forward to rejoining
Yeah, as a PC player myself. I have been constantly let down by announcements for this game and the lack of endgame activities. But, when I look back at it and the good times I had with the bois, I believe I got my money’s worth. I pre-downloaded the open beta and I will give it another chance once it opens up tomorrow. My expectations are low, but the influx of players from console should make things more lively, so I’ll give it a shot.

When it's working, ie end of season 4... it's actually great . Has most of the standard features of an mmo. When it's not working like right now ( block is bugged, desync and lag are massive even with like no one on the servers, and their are rampant exploits) it's a bad time. Unfortunately every patch is a roll of the dice. You never know what bugs are going to find their way in to their finished product, and even when we play test it, find a game breaking bug, they'll still release the patch and we'll have infinite stamina light rollers and flying hatchet men for a week or two. 😅 it's a whole thing.
I played the PC version at launch and really, really enjoyed it. I ended up not playing it anymore because my PC sucked, but I will probably buy it on PS5. Is the game the same? Like is there still massive PvP wars?
For 70 bucks or so it's definitely worth it. A new player can easily put in a few hundred hours and have a good time. Before the lack of content and poor design of endgame loops becomes seriously annoying. Chopping banana trees for hours to buy expensive chromatic seals every day is not a good endgame experience. Overall, it's still a fun game and yeah it's worth playing even if you don't stay in it too long. Thumbs up!
No, even if the game is fun to play, you end up getting hooked. Which is a problem, because you will end up getting angry/disappointed about the development in the game. Save yourself by just not playing it to begin with.
(Xbox player) Im currently stuck on getting new world or throne and liberty. Being a console player, there are not many options for mmos. Any advice from someone who's played both would be appreciated.

New world I think will have much more longevity for you. I’ve played both and I love new world. If console release is anything like the pc release was, you will absolutely love the game. The beginning of new world was some of the best gaming I’ve had.
Throne and Liberty was pretty good. I definitely enjoyed the beta. I do hate the crafting and all of the different menus and different things in different menus you need to collect. And when things get hard people quit. And if you are in a guild during night time prepare to die or fight. I am very curious how new world plays and feels.
Loved the game but content is lacking and it is amplified by how dev team promises and hypes oncoming content and just doesn't deliver. When the console launch is around it is one year of promises of new content and actually delivering something that is arguably done and over with in two weeks. Devs these days focus on bringing what they want, not what players want.
Is this a game that I could play from beginning to end with friends, or is it mostly single player where you can have friends join you for help? Also, can you see other players in the world, or do you have to invite players to your game or have an open server for random people to join?
Who’s gonna play this arpg on console over diablo4 or poe2? This game is dead in the water just based on the october release date. October 8th Diablo 4 and later in the month poe2 which will be free. Also who hasn’t heard of new world by now? Do you think console players haven’t heard about this game through their friends who play on pc or tried it?
I’m sure there’s a few out there, but good point on Diablo 4 content being pushed out days before this! All I’m saying is if you haven’t played this before, it could be pretty dang fun on console (if launch goes as planned). I’m worried about queues though xD

You getting 4000 hours of play time is crazy. I’d be happy getting 500-1000 hours. Hell, if it pulls me in for more than two weeks then it’s a winner. A new, quality MMORPG on console is a win, we need more. I played Throne and Liberty, and while it was fun for about 5-6 days, there is literally no content at endgame other than boring dungeons that take 10+ minutes to queue up on. And gear progression is sh*t. There are only a few sets of “epic” gear, and they don’t make a huge difference on your build. I’m super excited for New World!
I'm a little confused, does the "new game" still have lots of real life players running around in the world like the current MMO version? Or is it a solo world that you invite your friends into if you want to play together?
It will have A LOT of people running around (especially the first few months). I believe that if you wanted to play solo, you can get through the main MSQ without needing to group up. Unsure on the whole internet connection thing, but basically if you want to play this game solo, you could if you REALLY wanted to.

I will be there day 1 on Xbox! I will take your advice and avoid the deluxe edition. I recently left FF14 with over 8000hrs put into it...the subscription based games I'm just over it. And have been following new world since it's release and have always been interested in trying it...can't wait!!

Just read you have to buy the Angry Earth Expansion if you want to get the new version of the game on October 15 for free. if you bought the base game for 40$ they will be deleting that version and you will have to rebuy the new version. people are going to be so pissed

I have been enjoying New World alot. I see players that have even 6 thousand hrs on this game and complaint about the price. 6 thousand hrs is alot of hrs for a game. So that to me says its worth it for 60 bucks.
I agree with you 100%. I genuinely think they want what’s best for the game, and they’re just upset that the game isn’t close to its true potential. That’s what I want to think at least 😂
question, are there zone where pvp is inevitable , like Albion online or rune scape, and if so if i was to die do i loose all my gear or hkw does that work ?
There is a brand new zone being updated (in Cutlass Keys) that will be a full PvP zone. You won’t be able to “not be flagged” in this area, and there’s unique rewards from the PvP currency you gather in that zone. HOWEVER, you do NOT drop your gear and stuff from when you die. You’ll get random items when taking down players, but more info will be coming out soon on that since it’s still very new and not launched yet!

The game will have a ton of content when it comes out on console. Grab it right away when the popularity is at its highest and player counts are very high. That is when games like this are at its best.

idk why people hate this game, but for me this is the best game mmorpg i have play it before, play it since january 2024 and almost hit 2k hours, this game so amazing.
I love this game having so many skills and jobs to level and the fact is had free action combat makes it the best. If been play ff14 but the combat for me is so slow and boring but new work for me does everything right
@@bacassa that’s where PvP kinda starts. OPR, 3b3, and 50v50 wars. Plus the raids and mutations of the expeditions, which basically requires max level. There’s a new PvP zone coming out too which looks interesting. They spent the last year working on the main story questline and enhancing the progression experience…fingers crossed they go all in now for the end game!
It’s a good question and you probably hear a lot about it, the PC community lacks end game content big time since we’ve been maxed out for a while and are bored haha - instead of making more end game content they focused on console launch. If you’re planning on starting soon though I don’t think you need to be concerned anytime soon about end game content.
@@Savvvo yea i played EQ for years quit then just quit again after 7 months once you get max AAs gear which takes a few months not much to do but wait for next expansion
New world on console comes out October 15, and there are two options. The game, or the “premium” version, which is just some added skins and stuff. For console there is only one game available. PC gets confusing because you need the angry earth DLC to technically have the “full game”

It had been compared to runescape and elder scrolls to me, and I just eat that up. Then I read some of the reviews. O.M.G.... 😮 But you have helped. Maybe the influx of console games and the cross platform game play will help encourage Amazon to make new content? 🙏
The game got review bombed right when they announced it coming to console. They hyped up a huge announcement to completely change the game for many months to the existing PC community, and it was basically just that it was coming to console….which made the existing player base very upset, leading to the negative reviews piling up. It’s a great game and worth the money!
I have 5.6 thousand hours in New World. There are many people playing with more hours than I have, It is worth playing. The biggest drawback is the management of the game. Not the devs necessarily but probably whomever is above them. They really don't want to hear from you, they don't care what you think and won;t give you the things you ask for. The game itself is great and I think the devs are great though a bit clueless at times. Their marketing and PR are straight trash though. TLDR Amazing game, TERRIBLE management.
@@Savvvo That has been the biggest disappointment, so much potential. The community has been asking for some reasonable things for 3 years now. Like another map for Outpost Rush. Or some sort of engaging end game raid. *crickets* The game is amazing but AGS can be tone deaf when you ask for stuff.
In my opinion for a consol player New World will be great and that is the issue. A lot of PC players are getting shafted to make that available for consol players.
New World is the best looking, best sounding and has the best combat of any mmo on the market at the moment. The revamped leveling story is actually really well done and the voice acting is pretty damn good. End game just isn’t there, and once you are fully geared, game just gets dull, but hopefully that is something they will work on in the future. Definitely worth playing.
Haven’t played that, but I love the combat. Easily the best combat in an MMO that I’ve seen thus far, very fluid and you’re in total control. I wish they had more PvP modes in general, and I can see that coming
I believe you can play the whole thing solo! I would double check their website though if you can play without internet connection, I’m assuming yes, but its worth confirming.
Thank you for this review, and thanks for being as honest as you can. I loved the historical/fantasy premise of New World ever since the reveal trailer. Unfortunately, I’m a Xbox gamer, so I couldn’t get my hands on the game. So, I was super excited when it was announced that New World would come to consoles. As an arpg/rpg fan, I definitely have been wondering if New World would be able to keep me interested both playing multiplayer and more solo.
Yea, at least it’s not a monthly subscription though like some others. I was okay with spending it, was worth the content IMO. Check out the beta this weekend and see if it’s worth it if you’re considering trying it out again
@@Savvvo the problem is where i live. The conversion to dollars makes the expansion more expensive than normal. And even if i buy it, playing it alone sounds really boring :v i had one of my best times gaming at the end of 2021, farming ore, pvping, etc. But all that fun was also because i had a team of 5. I hope they realize that giving the dlc a nice discount would help a lot ahhahaha

@@Savvvo well tbh it was always like this, but I came back yesterday after months, ran some OPR, one tank just shielding against 7~10 players alone for like 3 min, as if he has 100k Con. And his dmg hurts. People were saying something about "GS bug" that makes one tanky or something. I have 200 con, and can't even stand dmg from 2 people for 3 seconds. It just threw me off and quit. (I played since launch on and off for total of 1000+ )It might be personal but the idea of how one shield tank can tank alone for 3 min against 5+ people throws me off, more than when blunderbuss could one-shot 200 Con med armor
Yes - you can craft gear and sell it. You can get lost cutting trees and chilling out. You can fish legendary fish. You can mine rare ore. You can forge weapons. You can do it all :)
You can get the $80 one if your really want, but it’s just some extra skins. There’s SO many skins in this game that I don’t think it’s worth it. Even if you drop the $20 in the in-game store, you’ll have more options to choose from.
Game isn’t even launched yet for console, the launch will totally bring more players for sure. We’ll see if they have a game-plan for new and game content soon, or else I agree - console players will be where us PC players are soon.
As far as content and how long it takes to do I played wow from 2005 until last raid in shadow lands and not one expansion after icc took me more than two days to max new levels and I always bought the collector’s edition 70-80$ and a 15$ a month subscription do the math on that one new world is a massive bargain for the hours you will get
Was a good game but you now level up way to fast to the point that you out level the content and make the experience very dull. Also, the stability around certain areas is diabolical!! It feels like you’re playing Pac Man the way you glitch around the screen. You’ll also be gatekept out of content unless you conform to playing weapons builds that are placed upon you. Ie, don’t expect to play bow and have people invite you to groups in PvE. It has the basis on an amazing game (they have failed since launch to build upon this) but you’ll be constantly trolled by the dev team and their myriad of promises that they always fail to deliver and ignore the player base. We are spoilt with good games imho this year. I would highly suggest playing something else that has already established itself as a good game.
Yea, the game is very different from where it was at launch. Depends on your playstyle - I agree it’s too easy to level now, I prefer the hard grind for these types of games!
@@Savvvo Yeah thats what alot of these MMOS keep getting wrong is that people want to grind for levels, its the same thing that happen at initial release, people got to 60 in a week or two and their was nothing to do
It’s worth checking out the open beta next week, I also have a video that shows the first ten mins. The graphics are not similar to RuneScape, but I do see a ton of similarities - even the nostalgic, great feeling you get when chilling and cutting down trees or fishing haha!
as a content creator i believe your opinion is a bit biased. If you look at the player count for this and see how much of the community has left then you understand more of how awful Amazon game studio is. The DEV team saying for 6 months how the community would get a roadmap then pushing it till now then saying surprise were going to console... What did we get.. ? console release and swimming... are you kidding me? they pretty much said the quiet part out loud in forged in aeternum.. Summary: were banking on console players to give us one more cash out before it completely dies. Then will switch over to lord of the ring.. thanks for the beta testing.. bye My server has only 500 players at any given time. The other servers are even worst off.

Clearly if they invested that time into something, they must have somewhat enjoyed it? If I thought the game was awful I’d quit and make content for another game to be honest. I think it’s a good game, and agreed the dev team needs a wake up call and figure out all these ongoing bugs popping up, but overall I strongly believe it’s a great game, and honestly has one of the best combat systems out there. Again, my opinion. Also, agreed 100% that the devs overhyped the PC community and the announcement was AWFUL and not planned the right way at all, whoever managed that needs to rethink their strategy. Amazon games should change her name to deal with because this sounds a lot like whatever everybody said they did with bless online over and over again ultimately blessed unleashed was a different game, but that was after three years of releasing it over and over different places in areas getting people to buy it again and again and again that’s what’s going on here Amazon made a boatload of money off that initial relief bill people nearly 900,000 to 1,000,000,000 people were playing that game with the highest hours. They must’ve sold 10 of billions of copies. They’re looking for another cash like that and they think they’re all stupid enough to buy that game again.
And liberty coming out here for the end of September, I think the liberty having some very innovative things in it. I’m like New World, which is really just that Bible game transform. Some kind of RPG liberty is going to take the fucking show. Nobody thinking about the world when it comes out from liberty free world, boss 70 bucks.
Elder Scrolls is MASSIVE in comparison to New World, however most of the older content is dated and irrelevant. New World has more freedom building your character since ESO DOES have classes and your character is stuck in the class you chose for the rest of the game, if you want to try a new class you have to create a new character. Another thing I disliked in ESO is the absurd ammount of paid DLC, and on top of paid DLC there are paid expansions, granted...you can purchase an ESO Plus membership (don't remember current pricing) and it instantly unlocks ALL DLC and expansions with the exception of the most recent one), but that's a monthly fee that New World doesn't have. It's really up to what you want in an MMO, if you just want a lot of content, story and you like the ESO lore and aesthetic, go for ESO but prepare to throw money at it, if you just want a kinda simple MMO that doesn't really require you to use real money unless you want the current expansion, go for New World.
Elder Scrolls online is very good game, but i personally dislike the combat skill system delay. This was driving me crazy and i stopped playing because of that.
I played the CB for this last night it’s very dull and boring to me there’s way better options like wow , eso, ff14o, etc etc 😂💀🤦🏾♂️ I was excited and then it completely put me to sleep literally

@@Savvvo a few hours it had just launched but it’s just my opinion there was nothing going on to make me wanna stay and btw it had just launched when I started playing it for ps5/ XSX it had a vintage video game feel to it imo I own thousands of video games I have over 2k hrs played in eso, a few hundred of wow and ff14o and this game just feels like it’s missing something and missed its mark but if yall enjoy it I respect that and hope they bring promising content to you guys lastly imo I wouldn’t pay full price for the console release I’d buy it on sale for sure.
No its not sadly. I tried to transfer worlds yesterday in prep for the update and it ate my money and I never got to transfer to a better server for my region. Amazon support told me they would not help and I am out of luck after it charged me three total times. I would highly recommend everyone in the comment section thinking about playing to stay away. Amazon games is a cash grab and do not care about the player experience.

@@Savvvo I did to join a server where some mutual friends were in but they all stopped playing. I wanted to go back to the west coast server to have better ping but it charged me multiple times and did not let me do the character transfer. Then Amazon games told me it’s my fault and they would not issue me a refund or make sure I get the items in game.
I played ESO for like a month….so never got super into it to do a legit comparison. I’m a big fan of New World though and got hooked right away - I think it’s worth a chance. Easily the best combat I’ve seen.
The game doesn’t have a subscription itself. You prob just need the online pass for whatever console you own, which isn’t specific to the game, but the console.
No content cuz they been working converting the game to console xbox and ps5 .... the content will come 2025 .... road map will be released with the oct 15 release

There is no way this is worth $70. You have way better action RPGs to choose from.

I'm a beta player. the game is fun and I'd love to play more but I always stick with the community and you vets know best.
(Xbox player) Im currently stuck on getting new world or throne and liberty. Being a console player, there are not many options for mmos. Any advice from someone who's played both would be appreciated.

New world I think will have much more longevity for you. I’ve played both and I love new world. If console release is anything like the pc release was, you will absolutely love the game. The beginning of new world was some of the best gaming I’ve had.

Throne and Liberty was pretty good. I definitely enjoyed the beta. I do hate the crafting and all of the different menus and different things in different menus you need to collect. And when things get hard people quit. And if you are in a guild during night time prepare to die or fight. I am very curious how new world plays and feels.
Loved the game but content is lacking and it is amplified by how dev team promises and hypes oncoming content and just doesn't deliver. When the console launch is around it is one year of promises of new content and actually delivering something that is arguably done and over with in two weeks. Devs these days focus on bringing what they want, not what players want.
Fingers crossed that the content roll-out will be more consistent and ongoing with the console launch being out the door!
Is this a game that I could play from beginning to end with friends, or is it mostly single player where you can have friends join you for help? Also, can you see other players in the world, or do you have to invite players to your game or have an open server for random people to join?
You can play it with friends from beginning to end, and onwards! Yes, you will see all players all around you consistently!

Who’s gonna play this arpg on console over diablo4 or poe2? This game is dead in the water just based on the october release date. October 8th Diablo 4 and later in the month poe2 which will be free. Also who hasn’t heard of new world by now? Do you think console players haven’t heard about this game through their friends who play on pc or tried it?
I’m sure there’s a few out there, but good point on Diablo 4 content being pushed out days before this!

You getting 4000 hours of play time is crazy. I’d be happy getting 500-1000 hours. Hell, if it pulls me in for more than two weeks then it’s a winner. A new, quality MMORPG on console is a win, we need more. I played Throne and Liberty, and while it was fun for about 5-6 days, there is literally no content at endgame other than boring dungeons that take 10+ minutes to queue up on. And gear progression is sh*t. There are only a few sets of “epic” gear, and they don’t make a huge difference on your build.

I'm a little confused, does the "new game" still have lots of real life players running around in the world like the current MMO version? Or is it a solo world that you invite your friends into if you want to play together?
It will have A LOT of people running around (especially the first few months). I believe that if you wanted to play solo, you can get through the main MSQ without needing to group up. Unsure on the whole internet connection thing, but basically if you want to play this game solo, you could if you REALLY wanted to.

I will be there day 1 on Xbox! I will take your advice and avoid the deluxe edition. I recently left FF14 with over 8000hrs put into it...the subscription based games I'm just over it. And have been following new world since it's release and have always been interested in trying it...can't wait!!

Just read you have to buy the Angry Earth Expansion if you want to get the new version of the game on October 15 for free. if you bought the base game for 40$ they will be deleting that version and you will have to rebuy the new version. people are going to be so pissed

I have been enjoying New World alot. I see players that have even 6 thousand hrs on this game and complaint about the price. 6 thousand hrs is alot of hrs for a game. So that to me says its worth it for 60 bucks.
I agree with you 100%. I genuinely think they want what’s best for the game, and they’re just upset that the game isn’t close to its true potential. That’s what I want to think at least 😂

question, are there zone where pvp is inevitable , like Albion online or rune scape, and if so if i was to die do i loose all my gear or hkw does that work ?
There is a brand new zone being updated (in Cutlass Keys) that will be a full PvP zone. You won’t be able to “not be flagged” in this area, and there’s unique rewards from the PvP currency you gather in that zone.
HOWEVER, you do NOT drop your gear and stuff from when you die. You’ll get random items when taking down players, but more info will be coming out soon on that since it’s still very new and not launched yet!

The game will have a ton of content when it comes out on console. Grab it right away when the popularity is at its highest and player counts are very high. That is when games like this are at its best.

I love this game having so many skills and jobs to level and the fact is had free action combat makes it the best. If been play ff14 but the combat for me is so slow and boring but new work for me does everything right
what is there to do once your reach max level & have good gear? i played Diablo 4 & there nothing much to do once you get gear but took 3 months
@@bacassa that’s where PvP kinda starts. OPR, 3b3, and 50v50 wars. Plus the raids and mutations of the expeditions, which basically requires max level. There’s a new PvP zone coming out too which looks interesting.
They spent the last year working on the main story questline and enhancing the progression experience…fingers crossed they go all in now for the end game!

It’s a good question and you probably hear a lot about it, the PC community lacks end game content big time since we’ve been maxed out for a while and are bored haha - instead of making more end game content they focused on console launch. If you’re planning on starting soon though I don’t think you need to be concerned anytime soon about end game content.

New world on console comes out October 15, and there are two options. The game, or the “premium” version, which is just some added skins and stuff. For console there is only one game available. PC gets confusing because you need the angry earth DLC to technically have the “full game”
If you are a new player on console do not listen to the negativity. New World is the best MMORPG out there. You are in for a treat.

I just pre purchased the game for xbox and was, am again now, realy excited about this. It had been compared to runescape and elder scrolls to me, and I just eat that up.

The game got review bombed right when they announced it coming to console. They hyped up a huge announcement to completely change the game for many months to the existing PC community, and it was basically just that it was coming to console….which made the existing player base very upset, leading to the negative reviews piling up.

I have 5.6 thousand hours in New World. There are many people playing with more hours than I have, It is worth playing. The biggest drawback is the management of the game. Not the devs necessarily but probably whomever is above them. They really don't want to hear from you, they don't care what you think and won;t give you the things you ask for. The game itself is great and I think the devs are great though a bit clueless at times. Their marketing and PR are straight trash though. TLDR Amazing game, TERRIBLE management.

@@Savvvo That has been the biggest disappointment, so much potential. The community has been asking for some reasonable things for 3 years now. Like another map for Outpost Rush. Or some sort of engaging end game raid. *crickets* The game is amazing but AGS can be tone deaf when you ask for stuff.

In my opinion for a consol player New World will be great and that is the issue. A lot of PC players are getting shafted to make that available for consol players.
Yea, hate how new world is getting so much hate. A majority of those haters had an AMAZING experience I bet when they started with their friends.
New World is the best looking, best sounding and has the best combat of any mmo on the market at the moment. The revamped leveling story is actually really well done and the voice acting is pretty damn good.
End game just isn’t there, and once you are fully geared, game just gets dull, but hopefully that is something they will work on in the future.

Haven’t played that, but I love the combat. Easily the best combat in an MMO that I’ve seen thus far, very fluid and you’re in total control. I wish they had more PvP modes in general, and I can see that coming

I believe you can play the whole thing solo! I would double check their website though if you can play without internet connection, I’m assuming yes, but its worth confirming.

Thank you for this review, and thanks for being as honest as you can. I loved the historical/fantasy premise of New World ever since the reveal trailer. Unfortunately, I’m a Xbox gamer, so I couldn’t get my hands on the game. So, I was super excited when it was announced that New World would come to consoles. As an arpg/rpg fan, I definitely have been wondering if New World would be able to keep me interested both playing multiplayer and more solo.
what killed the game for me was the paywall for the dlc. I paid for the full game already :v
Yea, at least it’s not a monthly subscription though like some others. I was okay with spending it, was worth the content IMO. Check out the beta this weekend and see if it’s worth it if you’re considering trying it out again
@@Savvvo the problem is where i live. The conversion to dollars makes the expansion more expensive than normal. And even if i buy it, playing it alone sounds really boring :v i had one of my best times gaming at the end of 2021, farming ore, pvping, etc. But all that fun was also because i had a team of 5. I hope they realize that giving the dlc a nice discount would help a lot ahhahaha

@@Savvvo well tbh it was always like this, but I came back yesterday after months, ran some OPR, one tank just shielding against 7~10 players alone for like 3 min, as if he has 100k Con. And his dmg hurts. People were saying something about "GS bug" that makes one tanky or something. I have 200 con, and can't even stand dmg from 2 people for 3 seconds. It just threw me off and quit. (I played since launch on and off for total of 1000+ )It might be personal but the idea of how one shield tank can tank alone for 3 min against 5+ people throws me off, more than when blunderbuss could one-shot 200 Con med armor

Yes - you can craft gear and sell it. You can get lost cutting trees and chilling out. You can fish legendary fish. You can mine rare ore. You can forge weapons. You can do it all :)

You can get the $80 one if your really want, but it’s just some extra skins. There’s SO many skins in this game that I don’t think it’s worth it. Even if you drop the $20 in the in-game store, you’ll have more options to choose from.

Game isn’t even launched yet for console, the launch will totally bring more players for sure. We’ll see if they have a game-plan for new and game content soon, or else I agree - console players will be where us PC players are soon.
As far as content and how long it takes to do I played wow from 2005 until last raid in shadow lands and not one expansion after icc took me more than two days to max new levels and I always bought the collector’s edition 70-80$ and a 15$ a month subscription do the math on that one new world is a massive bargain for the hours you will get
I agree, I’m a huge fan of it and hey, maybe I’m a little biased, but the game has so much to offer!
Was a good game but you now level up way to fast to the point that you out level the content and make the experience very dull. Also, the stability around certain areas is diabolical!! It feels like you’re playing Pac Man the way you glitch around the screen. You’ll also be gatekept out of content unless you conform to playing weapons builds that are placed upon you. Ie, don’t expect to play bow and have people invite you to groups in PvE.
It has the basis on an amazing game (they have failed since launch to build upon this) but you’ll be constantly trolled by the dev team and their myriad of promises that they always fail to deliver and ignore the player base. We are spoilt with good games imho this year. I would highly suggest playing something else that has already established itself as a good game.
Yea, the game is very different from where it was at launch. Depends on your playstyle - I agree it’s too easy to level now, I prefer the hard grind for these types of games!
@@Savvvo Yeah thats what alot of these MMOS keep getting wrong is that people want to grind for levels, its the same thing that happen at initial release, people got to 60 in a week or two and their was nothing to do

as a content creator i believe your opinion is a bit biased. If you look at the player count for this and see how much of the community has left then you understand more of how awful Amazon game studio is. The DEV team saying for 6 months how the community would get a roadmap then pushing it till now then saying surprise were going to console... What did we get.. ? console release and swimming... are you kidding me? they pretty much said the quiet part out loud in forged in aeternum.. Summary: were banking on console players to give us one more cash out before it completely dies. Then will switch over to lord of the ring.. thanks for the beta testing.. bye My server has only 500 players at any given time. The other servers are even worst off.
I just find it interesting how people spent hundreds (sometimes thousands) of hours on the game then says it’s bad. Clearly if they invested that time into something, they must have somewhat enjoyed it?
If I thought the game was awful I’d quit and make content for another game to be honest. I think it’s a good game, and agreed the dev team needs a wake up call and figure out all these ongoing bugs popping up, but overall I strongly believe it’s a great game, and honestly has one of the best combat systems out there.
Again, my opinion.
Also, agreed 100% that the devs overhyped the PC community and the announcement was AWFUL and not planned the right way at all, whoever managed that needs to rethink their strategy.

Amazon games should change her name to deal with because this sounds a lot like whatever everybody said they did with bless online over and over again ultimately blessed unleashed was a different game, but that was after three years of releasing it over and over different places in areas getting people to buy it again and again and again that’s what’s going on here Amazon made a boatload of money off that initial relief bill people nearly 900,000 to 1,000,000,000 people were playing that game with the highest hours. They must’ve sold 10 of billions of copies. They’re looking for another cash like that and they think they’re all stupid enough to buy that game again.

And liberty coming out here for the end of September, I think the liberty having some very innovative things in it. I’m like New World, which is really just that Bible game transform. Some kind of RPG liberty is going to take the fucking show. Nobody thinking about the world when it comes out from liberty free world, boss 70 bucks.

Not sure, I didn’t go too hard on elder scrolls!
Elder Scrolls is MASSIVE in comparison to New World, however most of the older content is dated and irrelevant. New World has more freedom building your character since ESO DOES have classes and your character is stuck in the class you chose for the rest of the game, if you want to try a new class you have to create a new character.
Another thing I disliked in ESO is the absurd ammount of paid DLC, and on top of paid DLC there are paid expansions, granted...you can purchase an ESO Plus membership (don't remember current pricing) and it instantly unlocks ALL DLC and expansions with the exception of the most recent one), but that's a monthly fee that New World doesn't have.
It's really up to what you want in an MMO, if you just want a lot of content, story and you like the ESO lore and aesthetic, go for ESO but prepare to throw money at it, if you just want a kinda simple MMO that doesn't really require you to use real money unless you want the current expansion, go for New World.
Elder Scrolls online is very good game, but i personally dislike the combat skill system delay. This was driving me crazy and i stopped playing because of that.

@@Savvvo a few hours it had just launched but it’s just my opinion there was nothing going on to make me wanna stay and btw it had just launched when I started playing it for ps5/ XSX it had a vintage video game feel to it imo I own thousands of video games I have over 2k hrs played in eso, a few hundred of wow and ff14o and this game just feels like it’s missing something and missed its mark but if yall enjoy it I respect that and hope they bring promising content to you guys lastly imo I wouldn’t pay full price for the console release I’d buy it on sale for sure.

No its not sadly. I tried to transfer worlds yesterday in prep for the update and it ate my money and I never got to transfer to a better server for my region. Amazon support told me they would not help and I am out of luck after it charged me three total times. I would highly recommend everyone in the comment section thinking about playing to stay away. Amazon games is a cash grab and do not care about the player experience.

@@Savvvo I did to join a server where some mutual friends were in but they all stopped playing. I wanted to go back to the west coast server to have better ping but it charged me multiple times and did not let me do the character transfer.
Then Amazon games told me it’s my fault and they would not issue me a refund or make sure I get the items in game.
On pc was bad so I doubt it will be any better on consoles. Weapons were nerfed to hell on pc.

Eso combat and this are not even comparable. If you try this game you will never go back to eso. The combat is beyond awful

The game doesn’t have a subscription itself. You prob just need the online pass for whatever console you own, which isn’t specific to the game, but the console.
It says on the pre order. "Per order- Immediate payment required" got me sketchy.
