New World is launching on PS5 and Xbox series in mid October, hoping there’s a few people that might find this fun to play with :) I understand population is low, but I still have fun making these build videos and guides, so I plan on continuing to do so. Thanks for watching!

I enjoy the game l, that’s enough for me! Plus with the recent updates it promotes more solo play, so even if I’m the only one in Aeternum I can still have some fun xD Long story short, I get why you and others might be upset with AGS due to lack of updates and bugs and a lot more issues they rose, but IMO the combat in this game is amazing, and I’m very excited for a lively fresh start server to enjoy with some new friends! It’s worth checking out for sure.

There is a brand new zone being updated (in Cutlass Keys) that will be a full PvP zone. You won’t be able to “not be flagged” in this area, and there’s unique rewards from the PvP currency you gather in that zone. HOWEVER, you do NOT drop your gear and stuff from when you die. You’ll get random items when taking down players, but more info will be coming out soon on that since it’s still very new and not launched yet!

@@jdmithrandir_5702 did you already use the free server migrate token they gave you too? I haven’t heard of this issue before…what server were you trying to go to? Sorry to hear you had a bad experience!

@@Savvvo I did to join a server where some mutual friends were in but they all stopped playing. I wanted to go back to the west coast server to have better ping but it charged me multiple times and did not let me do the character transfer. Then Amazon games told me it’s my fault and they would not issue me a refund or make sure I get the items in game.

It’s pretty fun tbh, there is an open beta coming mid September, might be worth messing around with if you can!

October should bring some good amount of players in. I still enjoy it, but I understand where the hate comes from.

You can buy three houses and decorate them any way you’d like.

Yea this game has a lot of hates and I understand where it’s coming from for the most part. I’m planning on pushing out updated guides, including weapon mastery and leveling guides coming soon! Just hoping we get a good chunk of excited new players!

@@Alfredo_M98 yes, it’ll be associated with your account for when you start and carry over to the main game. That’s the only thing that will carry over from the open beta

It’s the same exact game, they just are rebranding it a b it for the console launch. PC players who have the game and the angry earth expansion will automatically get the “New World Aeternum” update on launch day. You need the angry earth expansion though if you’re going to play on PC. It’s not a “wipe”, but there will be fresh start servers and i believe MOST players (console and PC) will basically start fresh on these new servers to experience the updated game!

Do it, it’s great!

You will NOT lose progress if you have the PC version. However, you'll need to make sure you have the Angry Earth expansion to experience the full game on October 15th if you play on PC. If you are planning on buying it on console, it is not cross-progression, which means you would need to start a fresh character on the new platform.

@@jdmithrandir_5702 They've been hyper-focused on revamping the MSQ and leveling experience, so i'm hoping they focus their resources now on new end game content! I plan on starting on a fresh start server anyways to get those fresh vibes and good feels :)

Yes, it's open world PvP, and there's a lot of other PvP modes too. You can see what influence races look like from the video below - it's chaotic and beautiful haha! And it can be a TON of people. I believe you can play the whole thing solo! I would double check their website though if you can play without internet connection, I’m assuming yes, but its worth confirming.

Unfortunately, I believe what we see with this “relaunch” is all we are getting. It’s still a fun game, and new players will have a good time. But there is no “potential” for something we haven’t seen IMO. I’d be happy if they proved me wrong.

I agree with both of your assessments. As a PC player, this is very, very underwhelming , especially after such a long period of time with nothing but copy/pasted events that already happened. PC players are getting an updated cutlass keys, a new raid, and a GS increase. Maybe a few days of content if that? Excited for console players, as they’ll have a lot of fun just hope that by the time they make it to end game content that the team launches more things to do.

At some point, years ago, they realized they have a broken end game that can't be fixed without a total rewrite. So they decided to move into the direction of publishing and running the servers for other MMOs. This should be the first red flag, because they're telling you it's not about releasing games, it's always been about throwing money at an industry and trying to make more back. They've lost sight of why people enjoy games and MMOs in general. It's not about the perpetual behavior of trying to micro-transaction and monetize every opportunity.
