Amazing! Thanks for getting me back to the woodshed! Jimmy is one of my favorite players. Would love to see you break down his clean line solos in the song "Night Of A Thousand Stars" from the Phil Lesh and Friends album There And Back Again. BTW- your tone is KILLING!!! Well done!
Hey Jamey, Im really trying to take my soloing to the next level and I feel like i've hit a bit of a plateau. I know all my chord inversions up and down the neck, I know my scale shapes as well... but I feel like theres just some techniques im missing when it comes to blues soloing... Any advice or tips? Would love to do a lesson if you're open to it at all

Nice dude, youre a great player.
Thank you!
Tasty licks, even tastier playing! Would you do a Jeff Beck licks video?
Thank you! Maybe at some point. I’m a huge Jeff Beck fan, but have yet to really do a deep dive into is whammy-isms.

Thanks! I love "Night of A Thousand Stars." I'd have to learn that solo before breaking it down, but definitely a great idea for a future lesson.
Great lesson thank you. Do you have any Jimmy Herring tone tricks?
Thanks! I’ve always stacked multiple drives with a mid boosted Marshall type tone.
@@JameyArent awesome thank you for the reply appreciate your videos.
I don't think I've ever heard a better strat bridge sound (not to mention your playing). What's your setup?
Thanks! Here it’s an Eric Clapton Strat with onboard preamp cranked, Vemuram Jan Ray, King Tone Duellist, into a Morgan AC20.
cool licks! Is this an EC Strat? (is the boost on?)
Yep! An EC Strat with the boost turned all the way up plus a few overdrive pedals in the mix.
