Dr Jane Goodall urges EU not to abandon animal welfare promises

Our Patron Dr Jane Goodall PhD, DBE, UN Messenger of Peace and founder of the Jane Goodall Institute is lending her support to the #EndTheCageAge campaign.
Despite committing to banning cages for farmed animals two years ago, the European Commission has so far failed to publish its proposals as promised. In this heartfelt video message, Dr Goodall appeals directly to Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and urges her to agree to meet.
Every year 300 million animals suffer the cruelty of being confined in cages in industrial EU farms.
