Just watching this in late 2020... WTF kind of question was the first to Eddy? Did everyone hate him... seriously... you have the honour to ask Eddy Merckx anything and THAT'S your first question? Way to start on such a stupid, negative note.
Useless he should stay in a sandpit -terrible - bless Mark great rider BUT he struggles on interviews.

Merkx may technically be the record holder Lance Armstrong is the real record holder everybody else’s race finishes from 99-05 2nd,3rd, etc still stand everybody was cheating to be competitive it’s not like it didn’t take heart and drive to push as hard as those athletes did he earned the wins the whole lineup was cheating he has the jerseys on his wall he is the goat
Armstrong was a fake glad the truth came out before he started taking drugs he came outside the top 30 end of argument I think!
Marshall you. obviously don’t know the history of cycling. Merckx won grand tours and one day classics by the bucket load, Armstrong won the TDF one world championship, and very little else. Also, not only did Armstrong take drugs, he encouraged and coerced his teammates to do the same.
