We are going to this area of Germany later this week and really loved your videos! Thank you for the tips and tour of the cities. You two have earned a follow
Great video folks!! I love doners :). The history including Beethoven's history is impressive. Those cherry blossoms are so pretty. I have not yet made it to Bonn but ai will undoubtedly look for those trees. Well done folks :) !!!!!! My guess would be Munich!!!!!! I can't wait to film a future UA-cam video in Bonn :)
The Rhine south? Koblenz for example, with the "Deutsche Eck" and "Hermann the Cherusker". Then take a boattrip along the middle rhine with its dozents of castles.
We went right along the river on a train ride from Koblenz to Mainz! It was absolutely beautiful! We would love to come back and take the boat next time so we have more time to take in the scenery!
Yes, it was. From 1949 it was the town of the goverment after WW2, and from 1973 until 1990 it was the Capital of Germany. I'm living in a Village right beside Bonn, but i see it as my hometown❤❤
Yes, and it lost a very narrow vote to become the permanent capital after reunification. Last time I looked at the numbers, there are around 10,000 federal workers in Berlin and 8,000 in Bonn, so it's kind of a second capital even now.
I feel like part of your bad luck was Covid happening an pretty much every government everywhere deciding that was the time to start massive, long term construction and repair projects that didn't finish anywhere near the time that things were opening back up.
