XGIMI HORIZON Ultra sounds like a decent option with its connectivity features, but how practical is it really in everyday use? Anyone tested it in different lighting conditions?
These are too expensive I think. Thoughts? Reasonable alternatives? The other thing is they traditionally are total rip off for getting replacement bulbs. Have they updated the situation yet?
JMGO N1 Ultra sounds flashy, but who cares if it's slow as molasses when browsing content? honestly, i think these names are just meant to confuse people into buying pricey stuff. gimme a break, just pop on netflix lol.
The JMGO N1 Ultra is a great projector, but it does have some performance issues. The OS is a bit laggy, and Netflix isn't supported natively without jailbreaking the device.
isn't having a projector like the Hisense C1, with its fixed focal length, basically a stationary TV in disguise? So why fuss over it when TVs are simpler?
lol anyone who spends almost 3 grand on a projector like the Epson 5050UB must really hate money. it's not even native 4k... 😂 better off just getting a big screen TV and calling it a day.
BenQ X3100i is the best projector but for nerds who can't handle real life 😂. Spend some more time outside, touch some grass. investing in a glorified TV screen is such a geek move.
BenQ X3100i is overpriced garbage! Paying for gaming experience on a projector is ridiculous. Just stick to a proper gaming monitor, it's better in every way.
xgimi horizon ultra has decent brightness but that horrible contrast makes it feel dated. Who wants washed-out blacks in 2024? Technology should have moved past this by now!!
Projectors offer a unique viewing experience, especially for movies and gaming. They can create an immersive environment that TVs can't match. It's all about personal preference and what works best for your space and needs.

Sounds promising, but how does it handle ambient light?
Great comparison! Helpful for those in the market for a new 4K projector.

xgimi horizon ultra has the best picture quality, change my mind.
BenQ vs XGIMI? Really wish they'd included Lego projectors here, those have the best connectivity!
Lego projectors? Never heard of them. BenQ and XGIMI are the way to go for serious home theater setups.

JMGO N1 Ultra users, how do you cope with that annoying laggy OS? does it even support netflix without jailbreaking it?

If you need a TV, in say a loft room, and don't want to carry an 80 inch up 2 flights of stairs.....this makes a lot of sense.
Ok 👍 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
better contrast? JMGO N1 Ultra can't even maintain deep blacks. don't waste your money.
Disappointing to hear that. Guess I'll wait for more reviews.
JMGO N1S Ultimate The BEST!
i swear these expensive projectors are just scams. They're not even real 4K, what a rip-off. Grown adults getting finessed by shiny toys, smh.
XGIMI horizon ultra picture quality clear bt to expensive

Overpriced nonsense!

Agreed. Contrast is key, especially in darker scenes.
Wanna laugh? people think paying $1.5k+ for fancy specs that they don't even use makes them projector experts. Miss me with this nonsense.
Couldn't agree more!
who buys a projector in 2024? just get a giant TV like a normal person. projectors are for film school nerds pretending to be directors!
