Oh I do love it when the drum horses are out…..they’re just SO damn impressive, those massive shire dinner plate hooves, and all that feather…….they’re gorgeous. Nice work by both the rider whose Mount shied and the following carriage driver to avoid any issues and not hold up the whole procession. Just lovely to see all those beautiful horses en masse……there’s nothing like the sound of a horse parade, and it’s one of my fond memories of living in London many years ago.

Wow, this is dazzling. I am an Arizona cowgirl and I love watching the Royal Family and their horses and carriages. No one does it as well as the UK.
I'm American and have always loved parades. Nothing beats the English pageantry of a parade. The horses, carriages, riders, uniforms, and professionalism are tops!

Sounded like a few idiots causing a commotion in the crowd, sadly it happens but thankfully these are experienced horsemen and women trained to the highest standards ❤️

Horses, for all their size, are very sensitive creatures. I noticed that someone yelled from the crowd around thee time the horse spooked. Altho' these horses are very well trained and compatible with their riders, this horse could have been new to this particular ceremony. The rider kept his cool and bought the horse around.

I especially have so much admiration for the military members who stand for hours and march with such precision and dedication to their country, unit, and themselves 👏.

Amazing the amount of horses maintained by the British Royal family, and of course the guards that endure parade after parade . I find it wonderful that there is still “tradition” found in some countries & kingdoms around the world, it’s not just about military strength in the UK as in Russia, America, China, rather it’s about History, Tradition & Class 😎
Not only are the guards regiments highly trained for parades, they are also real soldiers who get deployed to hotspots in the world, where they function as infantry

These situations are practised over and over again . The skill of the guards horsemen/women is first class. At NO TIME was anyone in any danger. It did not involve the Prince and Princess of Wales carriage at any time. As always a fantastic show parade by our British military and mounted sections.
Next to the Spanish Riding School these would be the next finest horses. Spectacular.

Lovely horse guard. Horses are not mechanical and experienced riders and trainers are well prepared for handling less than ideal horse behavior.
