- David DeVore Jr., known as “David After Dentist” after a video of him as a child went viral, is now 22 years old and studying computer science in college. Reporting for TODAY, NBC’s Joe Fryer sits down with David and his father to talk about one of the earliest popular videos online and how it changed their lives.

To this day the father takes all the credit for himself. David Jr is the one featured and yet the father acts like he's the one featured. That's rather selfish, don't you think, pops?

How did you get that impression? The father was glad he had a camera at the time David was loopy. That’s it. Oh, and Dad was right - there used to be many times people wished they had a camera when something amazing was happening.
@@Ohdeedee it's very simple. The father is the one behind the camera filming it. Yet instead of backing off and letting David himself do the talking about it, the father does it instead. As if he's the one in the aftermath of dental surgery. Is this video about David or him?
