Lovely! I am trying to get my Kobra Max machines running to do huge busts. I did a life size Flash (FDM) as a gift for a child. Then both my printers started under extruding. I am printing resin stuff... but I like doing BIG stuff. Besides... I need my FDM machines to do cosplay. That is why I bought them. They just have not run well enough to do anything like that yet. My goal is to get a Photon Mono Max to print bigger in resin, though you can do pretty large models on a Mono X.
Hi Greedy, can I ask what wall thickness you use on a print this large, and do you use an infill? Reason I ask I have just printed a head a little larger than this (my first large print) using anycubic washable resin and I did the usual drain holes, no infill,1.80 wall thickness ,cleaned inside and out ,even using your method of inserting uv led inside the print.after a day sat on the table the print has still cracked outwards all around the neck peg area and gone mis shaped so it doesn't sit properly on the body.any ideas? I m thinking I needed thicker walls and internal supports for a print this large, although I avoided it so I could make sure I could get proper access internally for the uv leds.
If I had 10 thumbs they would all be up good sir loved this paint job
Lol... Thank you kindly
Great job as always. Thanks for the video.
