That makes no sense. Meat does not absorb moisture from spinach or other ingredients when cooking. There was no need to salt already extremely salty cured meats. Its no deeper than that.

I can't imagine someone with a healthy diet (as a person that has one) eating foods like these, on a regular or even just eating them. The amount of people that eat like that and are obese and have diabetes is disgusting.
Depends on what you're making. I would always wash basmatti rice, but when I'm making rice pudding I would never wash the rice. For risotto, short grained arborio rice is used and probably should not be washed first as the starch on the rice is an important part of the dish.
If you don't wash the rice, it's sticky. If you wash it, you get the individual grains. Another reason to wash the rice is that it might be dirty, depending on where the rice is from.
i don't mind the circular dishes with dips in the middle - cause it's actually a clever display for a party dish -, but it's kind of annoying how almost everything has cheese and/or dough...
Step one - put all your fav ingredients in a bowl
Step two - bake or freeze
Step three - flip upside down and enjoy

When you put it in the oven. The meats lose their moisture and some of their flavoring so you have to salt it.
Absolutely not. All of that meat is cured, and there's so much of it that there is absolutely no need to add more salt to it.
