Skyler Fire Great pro shots & Narrative.
Thanks
Excellent Catch Skyler 👍🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒
Thanks
Great video Skyler. Thing about those old buildings, you never know when the fire’s gonna get lose in them
I love these buildings, hate the iron bars on the windows, the neighbour with her thank you sign was so sweet. Nice to see the Irish names again today, Hope the injured firefighter is ok.
Thanks for watching
Great video thanks brother 🚒🧑🚒🇺🇸
Thanks for watching
Great job F.D.N.Y.
yup
well done 👍🏻
Thanks
Cool video ... Got great footage even without the fire ... I listened to it on the radio
Sometimes it’s not about getting any flames
@@SkylerFire Absolutely
nice footage bud 👌
Thanks
nice catch tonight stay safe
Thanks
Nice Vid Skyler, be nice if those numb nuts got towed!
Yeah I hear ya thanks
Having a hard time with that ladder
If they can sit in their vehicle and not be ticketed, if I were chief, I would come uo for a reason for needing the hydrant and start breaking out windows or running a hard suction supply line to my apparatus. Ridiculous that are so easy on these people that could end up costing lives and property due to delayed water supply 😡😡😡😡
The street looks familiar...from 9-1-1 videos...where were you in relation to former ground zero? Looks like right down the street...only several blocks away.
Nowhere near that
Great filming..btw,how long have you stayed at scene for every call you received ?
Idk 🤷♂️
They need to make blocking hydrants a criminal offense.
Yup
I hate these parking violators that parks there cars on the hydrants blocking our firefighters from doing there Job!
Yeah sadly happens a lot
Do u know the status of the injured FF.??
No I do not
Always surprised by the high number of firemen being deployed....have no,experience whatsoever, but from video’s seems to me that FDNY really likes to,throw a lot (too much?) Manpower at any fire
Never too much!
Things can go south very quickly ...
FDNY 3 alarm assignment is at least 200 or less firefighters on scene As an example 200 firefighters on scene of a fire in east bergen county is a 5 alarm or higher Kudos to all firefighters
@@peterarvanitis6497 The FDNY likes to rotate they're crews every 30 Minutes or so on fires. On larger fires like 3/4 Alarm fires. They bring a lot of crews on scene. As they rotate the crews more frequently.
A large fire in large multifamily buildings requires a lot more manpower than say a fire in a suburban home. Better to overdeploy than underdeploy
How are you allowed to have a radio on you and not get yelled at by the fire dept for being up close to them
Because I can
No law against copying the mail. During the early 70s it was against the law to have a Police radio receiver in your car. Now you can monitor Police and fire radio traffic on the internet and your cellphone. I live in Puerto Rico and I monitor Police radio traffic from Alaska. I was an Auxiliary Fire Captain during the FDNY WAR YEARS. I often rode with Satellite One when they were quartered on Spring Street and Canal Street in lower Manhattan. That's when the fire DEPARTMENT had the SUPER PUMPER.
