Airfix 1:600 HMS Daring

A fun little kit to build if you can get hold of one. Key parts of the build were replacing or modifying the iconic 4.5 inch mounts to better accurately represent the real thing. Check out my channel for other Airfix 1:600 builds.

Very good video. I, too, enjoy making the 1/600 kits. I don't have room in my home for the 1/350 scale models. The PE from White Ensign is great.😊😊

I wish Airfix would do these WW2 ships in 1/350 scale. They would sell.

Well they did do the modern HMS Daring in 1:350 scale, along with HMS Illustrious. They'd need to increase the level of detail on these kits if offering them as serious kits as opposed to "Vintage Classics". What would be helpful for the vintage classics would be a plan of detail that could be added, as researching the ships each time is quite time consuming.
