  • Full Review on the Molten BG4500 or B7G4500. It's a composite leather basketball and it is the successor of the Molten GG7X. This ball will be the official game ball 2020 Tokyo Paralympic and it is also the official game for the NWBA
    If you want to purchase any good basketballs please use my Amazon store page. I only have good basketballs that I owned, tested, and would re-purchase. www.amazon.com....

    yea I agree, I'm struggling to adapt the shooting consistency with the ball, I'm relieved to know that someone out there has the same thoughts with me on this ball

    • @LETSROCKTA
      @LETSROCKTA 3 роки тому +3

      Probably has more to do with your shot mechanics. Apart from getting used to the grip difference, you should be able to shoot an evolution just as consistently as a tf-1000 or a bg 4500. Ballers often think that the grip on the finger roll is the most important part of their aiming when really it is all in the wrist flick and making the way to your shot pocket in a straight line going up. The rest is just good body timing. Any ball at all can be shot consistently then even an old and used one.

    • @EverythingBasketballs
      @EverythingBasketballs  3 роки тому +6

      @@LETSROCKTA yeah of course those factors create good player. As we always say don’t blame the ball blame the shooter. But for when I play with the ball that doesn’t feel right is pretty distracting that often time lead to poor performance on the court. Just like wearing slippery basketball shoes that has bad traction sometime it made me feel like i was ice skating on the court or wearing uncomfortable balling shoes that sometime feel like my feet about explode. Back to basketballs, my point is that certain balls feel uncomfortable and they become the distraction. Prime example, during the 2006-2007 NBA season, the new ball was introduced to the league and after the few weeks of using it many players complained about the ball how terrible it was and even caused injuries to some. You can Google it for more details. So I think finding the right ball to fit your style of play is important.

    Thanks for the review!!! I have the molten BG4000 and I can assure you that Ball feels like on the bigger side of size 7.
    Cause some size 7 feels small , some feels bigger. But the BG4000 feels big and heavy like GG7X, it took me 4 months to break it in.
    I seriously wouldn't recommend this Ball to anyone, this Ball collects dust like hell I had to play with it outdoor twice just to get rid off the coating on the surface of the ball. And the grip is Terrible, people in the court wouldn't want to play on it another factor that took the process of break-in longer.

      jydn no tf classic zk that is certain. If you like the feel of the evolution the Baden elite is a closest to it. Nike elite championship is a great ball but feel a little different from the evolution, colleges and universities are still using this ball. @@aaronfirmo6808 Currently going into my third week with the ball - overall feel is okay, if you play in an older court then it might pick up some dust and get less grippy (haven't thought of how to solve this issue yet). People seem to initially think the ball is smaller than normal size 7, I'm not sure if that's because it's new or it's just how the ball is. As someone who is primarily shooting guard, I think the ball shoots quite well and rolls off the fingers pretty naturally. If you can find it for a lower price, I recommend. Otherwise, go with a different ball, I don't think this is worth full price.

      Luke Thompson it is like night and day switching from GG7x to Evo Nxt. As I mentioned on my video the bg4500 is feel small in hand and I think grip is not as nice as the GG7x. If you already got two Evo u might as well continue to use it. But if u absolutely hate it then I would recommend you to buy Wilson NCAA Official Game Ball instead. Because you switched from the GG7X and the NCAA ball doesn’t feel light and doesn’t soft like the Evolution and it has nice grip as well and the price is similar to Evo. If your league still play with GG7X then u should just keep practicing with that ball. For me, whatever ball the league uses, I would get the same ball to practice with. When game time, I’m ready. I don’t blame the ball with I messed up.

    Thanks from Australia for content brother. Good to see some fellow Khmer ballers out there.
    My friend recently bought the bg4500 and we shot around yesterday and compared it to my gg7x...
    Totally agree with what you're saying about this ball overall. It feels like a size 6.5 ball 😂 and it feels like a bouncy ball when dribbling. I think it is because the bg 4500 being smaller with a less dense composite leather contributes to it being so much lighter for a "size 7 ball"
    That might be why everyone is straightup bricking/ overshooting with the 4500...
    In Australia we can get the GG7x for 48 USD on clearance from the Molten Australia site but unfortunately I missed out on the last few size 7s.

      It is not horrible but it’s as good as GG7x. If you set your expectations low about this ball then maybe you should be ok. I was pretty hyped up about this ball and turn out to be a disappointment.
      What are other basketballs that available to purchase in SG? List them, maybe I can give you a better recommendation.

      @@EverythingBasketballs I mean , I don’t need to have like expectations of my ball . I most probably would be using gg7x either ways for games. But like in general shooting ard and alittle training sesh , is this ball decent enough or like it’s pretty bad ? In sg , we normally used molten (due of mostly outdoor courts) . Like 99% of the them in pick up it’s definitely gg7x so the choices of ball don’t really matter . Everyone (including me) would be looking for the best gg7x before a game. So I just wanna know how this ball perform in general . A summary on how this ball perform ? The good and bads. (be dead honest about the goods and bads)

      @@ryanong493 just save some money and get other balls. If you only gonna use out to shoot around then this ball is not worth it to buy. also you get so used to play with the GG7x then definitely you won’t like this ball. Look into other balls like Nike or Jordan Hyper Grip, even the Wilson or Molten 3x3 Official game ball if you don’t mind the smaller size but does feel nice.

      @@EverythingBasketballs right , but in games those 4500 performs ? if it does , I wouldn’t mind using it , just cause the review says about the dust collection & all . Say if I purchased this ball , would it be a decent ball to have ?
      P.s thanks a lot for answering 👊🏼 just wanna make sure if this ball is decent. Much appreciated !!

    I bought this ball almost a month ago
    mine looks small in hand but i used a tape measure to measure it and came out it is 30 inches.
    the ball is also on the heavier side it weighs at 640 grams i used a digital weigh scale.
    The grip is good if the hands are moist or have sweat but if it don't have sweat or moist the grip tacky.
    the flying out of place happens to my ball also i notice that this ball is "spin sensitive" so i tried to deflate it and inflate again used it to break it in, now the ball is bouncing normal but still "spin sensitive" which is good for layups.
    Mine is stiff at first but after dribbling for a couple of minutes it gets softer but not as soft as the Wilson evolution.
    Weird that yours are like that, maybe try deflating it and inflating it again then break it in for a while.

      Thanks for the info. Yeah a lot of people said the ball does feel small in hand. After I spent a good of amount of time with this ball, I just stopped using it. this ball is not the right kind of ball for me.

      yeah i agree with that and when i play outdoors it pick ups alot of dust and I cant dribble the ball while in the game but if I have a chance to play indoors I think it’s a good ball can’t go to an indoor gym right now cuz of corona

    I'm looking for a new outdoor ball while the 3 Molten models that could still get in store and within my budget are GG7X from old series, BG4000, BG4500 from new series.
    My previous one is Spalding Silver while the air leaked frequently therefore I'm not planning to getting Spalding's any more.
    Now considering models from Nike and Molten only....Will you have any recommendation on getting which one? (I'm from HK and my Budget is around 50usd)

      Lam Gordon for outdoor used I would go with Nike True Grip is good if you’re playing on those nice outdoor court. Spalding NBA Zi/0 is also pretty good. If you like the Molten then gm7x is good too.
