•Hi Humans• yeah I’d be like “Oops, my bad. I’m so sorry.” Not arguing that I can keep said person’s seat.
No big deal if you say that you made a mistake.
Oh you didn't know, the older generations aged 35-50 thinks they have special privilege. It's been like that ever since they open up.
Most of them will never give in as they think they have the right. That's why China's law system is different from western countries. They are not shy and they won't be embarrassed because they think their rights. It's normal behaviour for these people and they will try to get away with it.
It's shameful to see such incident still happening when the world advances but China's social society is still way way behind. If this happens in overseas, she would not dare to argue.

You’re talking about what the majority of rational people would normally do. Most people have respect for the rules, don’t like confrontation, and don’t have time for pettiness. In many of these Chinese mainland videos, you have parents allowing their children to defecate in public, people hoarding huge amounts of food at buffets but only eating a small % of it, and people breaking the rules and doing things they’re not supposed to.
If you really research why this is, some say they learned this bad behavior from their Chinese mainland parents and the vicious cycle repeats itself. There’s even a video of a Chinese tourist doing graffiti in Egypt on some ancient artifact. No respect for anything.
No shut up ur an idiot and

I was at the reception dinner at an academic conference. I entered the dining hall early so I could find myself a table. So I placed my belongings including my name tag and my own personal bag on top of a chair at a table and went to the lavatory thinking that no one would take my seat at that table. Upon my return, my seat was occupied by a Chinese academic and she simply left my belongings on the dining table. I noticed that she wouldn't make eye contact with me. I didn't want to make a scene so I simply stood there wondering what I should do since by then all the tables were fully taken. Long story short, the conference organizers had to do last minute scrambles to find me a seat before the keynote speaker would start his speech. I can see why they are introducing the social credit score...
I had to look that up and it is a sad world if we have to have a social credit score to make people behave.
@@thisone. My interpretation is that many of the "oppressive" institutions implemented by the Chinese government are temporary measures intended to refine the etiquette of its people to be on par with the developed countries. After all, many of these Chinese were rural farmers only a generation ago. Having a large population does necessitate systematic regulation of a larger scale.
@@germsspicesyeah its still sad. people should be able to evolve naturally and not forced. Maybe the majority of Chinese people shouldn't be fast forwarded into a social class they are not meant to be.
That is not even a real thing. Maybe they have that in a small community where they set the "rules" themselves. The so called social credit score that all the media showed is just a regular financial credit score, like the credit score in US or Canada.

A message to her man: drinks on me.
Doubt she has a man.
If she has a man, five words of advice: sell everything and run away.
Something similar to this has happened to me, when I was en route from Malaysia to Dubai.
I was supposed to sit near the window but this lady took my seat and her husband was at the middle seat. I politely asked her that she’s on my seat and she and her husband looked at me straight in the eye and COMPLETELY ignored me.
A flight attendant was the discomfort on my face and cane to my aid, took my ticket and politely asked her that she’s taken my seat.
The lady got mad and said she wanted to sit here, she was so stubborn she INSISTED she didn’t want to move.
The flight attendant said that I paid for this seat so it’s rightfully mine, the lady seemed to be getting angrier.
I told the flight attendant that “it’s fine, she can have my seat” cause I did not want any drama occurring on this flight. The flight attendant asked me if I’m sure about this, then told me that if there’s any problem just let her know (she was so kind)
Not even 5 minutes have passed the lady and her husband demanded that they wanted to get “better seats” cause it seems that after getting what they want from the previous ordeal they think they could easily get what they want. And ofc the flight attendant rejected their request but told them they could move to ANOTHER economy seat IF one of the passengers failed to board the plane. And then that didn’t work they asked another flight attendant but she told them the same reason.
They didn’t manage to get a “better seat” and got stuck with me. It’s seemed like she hated my presence.
Must have been hard having to sit beside people who act like that. And in a long flight too. You were really kind to offer your paid seat.
I have experienced something similar but the issue was with the flight attendant. I always feel claustrophobic seating at the aisle seat, thus, I always paid extra to get the window seat. During boarding time, a foreigner sat on my seat and seemed reluctant to switch. While we were talking to each other, a flight attendant came to us & told me "all seats are just the same. You just need to sit" (while pointing at the seat that the foreigner was supposed to sit at, and went away).
I was baffled to see a flight attendant solving the problem like that. I paid for that seat and she just dismissed me like I was arguing over a freebie.
I was so tired to argue that day, so I just went on and seat there. During the flight, the foreigner's friend sitting in the middle seat felt bad & suggested me to exchange seat with her other friend at the back who was sitting at the window seat. I turned and saw two elders at the middle & aisle seats that probably had to get off their seats for me to do it. So I politely refused the offer and said thank you.
During the whole flight, I couldn't stop thinking about how the flight attendant handled the situation. It was an unpleasant experience and, until today, I still feel reluctant to book a flight from that airline. If it's not for the low price, I wouldn't even be bothered to put it into consideration.
you deserve better seat, no one should sit beside them for health reason
@zen I did. In the airline's website after the flight though. I was really tired that day and the flight was at night too. I was thinking that if I said any more words after that, I would just get emotional and make things worse. So I gave up.
They are stubborn & arrogant, be patient
This kind of thing happened to me too. My sister was participating a singing competition and the venue was a college theater so my mom bought 2 seats up high cause it was the cheapest since she wont be sitting for long anyway. Halfway through the event, 3 men asked me to move because im sitting in their seat, and getting angry at me, a kid, even throwing insults. Since my mom was backstage with my sister and the ticket was with her, i could only move seats almost crying(i was in primary school). Then when my mom went back to her seat i told her what happened and turns out we had the correct seat and complained to the organizer and we were given seats in front instead. But those men just kept sitting there shamelessly. I don't know whats it with people wanting to get other people seats if you want that seat you could have asked first atleast

I am a Chinese and it is embarrassing to see all these comments. I have to admit that most of the older generations in China are like these. In China, the young generations like myself have notice what they are doing are improper and we are ashamed that they left bad impressions to people around the world. But it is hard to change them as they been like this for almost entire of their life. It has something to do with their background. China had been through a tough time when they were at our age, people were poor back then and there was the culture revolution, no one carried about education so as “manner” because all they were trying to do were to stay away from hunger. I am not trying to avoid this problem but just want to let everybody know that we have realized it and we are trying to get better in every aspect. Ps, not everyone in China is like this to be honest...
I don't get why the Chinese still admire Mao. They hail him. They hail the man who destroyed every good aspect of the Chinese culture, spreaded poverty just because of stupid decision making, and ravaged the whole Chinese society due to the thirst for seizing power. All the uncultured, bad-mannered mainlanders are like this way because of him.
Fatina Kao That’s not exactly true. Some people in my grandparents age may admire him due to politics or just the atmosphere at that time made people follow him. Nowadays no one really cares. Every country has some sort of history and not all history is as beautiful as an epic poem.
I agree that not every country's history is perfect. However, we need to acknowledge the faults we made, like what the Germans do and what the Japanese don't do. Generally speaking, Chinese people hate Japanese people but they're all the same when it comes to looking back on history and learn from it. The culture revolution took hundreds of thousands of lives but Mao simply shrugged it off, and so does the Chinese history textbook. The younger generation being oblivious to this dark part of history ISN'T a good sign, it actually shows that no one cares about it, therefore no one has learned from it. I really wonder, nowadays if any Chinese dare to criticize Mao in a completely unbiased way, how will the public and the people react?
She sounds like my sister in law that my brother married and met over the internet. RIP
but this lady wasn't really an older generation though?
In addition, she was arguing with the train conductor. Such audacity... Should get the face recognition and ban her from train rides for awhile. Unruly behaviour. Such righteousness.
They did. She was banned from buying tickets for 180 days *pulls out calculator* that's more than 160 days. About 6 months.
What if she was having hot flashes as many women with menopause suffer from. Irritability, Sensitivity to Temperature, etc. Consider a Person like yourself having to go through that. Wouldn't you act the same?
China does have facial recognition and is on the way to implement social credits. Communism of the future is right around the corner.
She should ride the mrt in the philippines.
Ernest Pierce what the fuck! How the fuck can any person with a sane mind justify this! People like you are the worst kind of pests rotting our society!
Boy I hope she goes on a united airlines flight they will teach her some manners
China need to be a fine country. a comprehensive FINE to enforce every violation and offence.
That also happened to me. They never move, but I got upgraded to business class. Soo yeahh 🤗🤗🤣
Thats great lol
Sometime united airline training isn't that bad.
Wtf.. Let her sit there you could have been a gentleman and you could both have an interesting conversation... And I'm sure if you asked her kindly she would have let you
He is the ticket inspector (you can see by his uniform and hat), why would he sit and have a conversation with a stubborn bitch lol.
Homogenous country ? LMAO Racism exist all around the world even in china. How do you think country side chineses are treated in big town like Beijing and Shanghai ? Many can get married or buy an apartment in big town because they are not local. Nothing is perfect in this world, you either take things as an offense or you take it with humor.
Albert Lima Lima China is more homogeneous than the US, but that doesn't mean discrimination doesn't exist.
@Albert Lima Lima how is this racist lmao the fuck she was a bitch
How did she know what row to go to if she "misunderstood" the ticket?
Why is it a problem to move from the window seat?
She never wanted the isle seat but took it (was only one left) with the intention of fighting for the window seat.
Every lie reveals an underlying truth.
The sign above will clearly state what those 2 seats are. Its not always completely obvious which one is which though.
@@stevenmaddock494 And when the officer came and told her, she should have moved.
But if the seat was unoccupied, it shouldn't matter.
Unreasonable communist … all the same … never change everywhere have them also problem …
She is a head nurse of Hunan hospital now she dismiss from the worked in hospital and not allowed to worked any government office.
Wow ... Really...? She truly lacks all sense of compassion...
Good for her!! Rude tsikwa.....
I smell bullshit.
That is a bit hash for punishment.
Thats Good to hear because she is completely a mess.
These videos always end up with "the video sparked anger"... accompanied by a whole bunch of Mandarin/Chinese comments I don't understand.
Lol
So, since u keep watching these videos, learn some chinese. I like watching korean stuff, so i learn some korean. LOL. Salam dari Indonesia. Hahahaha
They translated some of them for your convenience. It’s not like they didn’t try.
We do knew Chinese bad attitudes isn't new but still surprising all of us they do think everything is they owned
@@canto_v12 u guys are so dense. What he was trying to say is that these videos keep end up with same pattern which is "spark anger online" and followed by bunch of Chinese comments.
Bukannnya ada translate an nya juga ?
From what i've experienced, people who are narrow-minded and unreasonable often shows their aggressive side to defend themselves, i think it just that because they know they're wrong lol.
👍👍👍
Aside from having a narrow minded, she is also having a narrow eyes to see the right place to seat
@@jellyfishi_ we hope so
Not just that they know, but can't bring themselves to admittance over it
I've never seen rude behaviour from any Chinese people in all my years here in London. Maybe people behave differently elsewhere?
the Chinese in my university are pretty nice annd have manners still can't judge everyone because not all five fingers are equal
sorry for bad grammar and English
Very true.
sory far bed grahmer
syed hamza ali Lol ur grammar is acceptable for a youtube comment
Not all five fingers are equal. Yeah, some are belonged to the middle one
Well these chinese you are talking about are chinese who were educated. But you see in china, some people have money throught corruption, not by getting education and getting a job. So some poor chinese people didnt receive an education but got these money throuvjt corruption. So as they got loads of money and became rich, they think they can do what ever they want eventhought breaking other rules.
They occupied our islands in the west Philippine sea and they refuse to leave.
@McDuck yeah I have a Portuguese dna
@@johnmelescoto7337 You're sick.

@@johnmelescoto7337 So did Spain.

*Chinese fight over train seat*
Xinjiang : Am I a joke to you?
They behave like this all over the world
No shit
That’s not true not all Chinese ppl are like that
Deagle Eagle not all but mostly
Just like tiger, people run from tiger chasing them. But actually there's going to be about 1% of the tiger that only wants your pet.
Just like Chinese. Saying tiger is dangerous, is like saying Chinese behave is bad.
True. Even in the shop, the owners will be rude to you unless you some things from them. They will shoo you if you don't buy anything or just browsing.
Why am I not surprised by mainland China
As if you have not met rude Americans and Europeans before?
Lol everywhere is the same. I live in the United States. People here aren't different; perhaps, they are even ruder
Russia thankfully loathes them more than anyone and will keep them in check.
Which is weird considering the people who criticized her are also mainlanders.
cuz its got 1/4 of the human population?
If she was going on vacation or something, she’ll have a long ride home on a smelly bus.
When I eat my dinner at outdoor cafee I was sit beside a group of chineese teenage, two of them was cough and spit under their table, at that time I stop my dinner and go pay my bill, so discusting
How do u know if it's Chinese? Just because of the eyes huh? (I'm NOT Chinese)
Emre Berk Bilgic
Pretty sure we all know what Chinese tourists are like by now
this happened to me in japan on the shinkansen. Some random lady was in my seat and the staff had to eventually come and convince her to move. She was definitely upset but at least it wasn’t this bad lol
That probably was a foreigner. Few Japanese would've done that.
Just imagine in Malaysia we have to face these kind of people every day and everywhere we go..
I feel you bro
Well, I'm white and in mainland China...so......
I wouldn't know cause I never leave the house, tapi ada lah minah cina ni cakap yg Malaysia ni tak cukup sign yg bahasa mandarin mcm Malaysia ni China lol (translation: but there's this Chinese woman who claims there's not enough signs in Malaysia in mandarin like Malaysia is China lol)
Anisse Ezra but there are english sign, right? Don't travel if they don't understand other language...not every country has mandarin sign 😂😂😂
:0 what a horror
The girl in the back do be smiling while her eyes were blurred it got unbluured for 1Seconds lol
Ban from buying ticket for 180 days serves her right!
The fine was nothing only 200rmb she should fine 2000 rmb!
@Young Tang nobody asked you pervert
Young Tang Nah her body smells worse than her mouth.
I believe that modern Chinese people will no longer put up with people acting like her. It’s the year 2018, and she is acting like mainlander from 1980. That is embarrassing for her. It’s time to become civil.
You understand more than half the comment section
So very true. Most people in this comment section are quick to hate upon mainlanders, however, if this was meant to be normal, why would one of China's biggest news outlets try to spread awareness to say this sort of behaviour is intolerable? I believe that only a minority of the older generation, old-fashioned ones are the biggest demographic of cause of this issue. Though frowned upon, I would rather not be quick to judge as most of their past must have already been troublesome enough.
Flowmasta Flam TRUTH
Trust me if you compare the ratio between good tourist and bad tourist, bad chinese tourists is number 1.
No. Mainlanders still act this way til this day.
Security and woman : complaining
Woman behind : where's my popcorn ?
Woman in the back just enjoying the drama.
This is why Chinese government wants to impose "social credit" on people citizenship grade. This woman proves the need.
Przhm no one needs that. China is crazy
Moon River: The need is dire at this point in time, and as Chinese tourist groups increase in other parts of the world, chaos follows. The social credit will act as a real help in suppressing the problems.
It's a cultural issue ingrained by the nationalism China expects from it's citizens. In a way they created this themselves for being isolationist and against mixing for so long.
we need it here in america too, because of black people.
Metal Steel You mean for ‘some’ you might experience. I know some very decent black people. It’s all about education.
Bad manner to the highest level. Very stupid my blood is boiling.
She was fined and banned to travel for the next 180 days. Good enough.
.....and this video is viral ... Public humiliation
That kind of people won't feel embarrassed in any circumstances.
Maybe the family will....
I know this woman, her real name is Took Wong Seat
I had the same exact problem on a train in Switzerland. A woman took my seat and refused to get up. She pretended to not understand me in English. She was surprised to find out I spoke German. 4 other people on the train heard, and forced her to get up. It turned out she didn't even have a ticket. The ticket man kicked her off.
The two: **arguing**
The girl at the back: **smiles**
