I’m 11 months locked and thinking the SAME thing as far as color. I toyed with the idea of henna but I was also thinking about a rinse as well. I want my hair to have some Oomph to it but I’m not looking for a major color change. I can’t wait to see how it turns out on you!
Everything you said is the same for me. I started interlocking my edges more than the rest of the head and so far that’s working. I just do a two pint rotation so that it’s not too tight but two has been enough to hold it.
Yeah I used to do that a lot with my first loc set and I noticed my edges thinning a bit. So I’m more cautious now about retightening that area often. They key is definitely to not make it too tight.
The hair on my edges is soft so I get the same locking problem. But when a patch is long enough I braid it and interlock the bottom. Some of these baby locs stick around, and some unravel and I re-do them at the next retie. Or i let the hair grow a bit longer.
I love the Suave clarifying shampoo. It does leave my hair dry, so I might try the Dr. Bronners to see if I get the same softness you’re experiencing. I’m looking forward to you coloring your hair. I’ve been thinking about it myself. 😊
@@Babybookieboo great question. I love how clean my hair gets when I use it. It can be difficult to get product residue out of locs. The clarifying shampoo smells good and gets my hair really. Plus, it’s easily accessible and really affordable.
How do you do different styles to your locs after a retwist? I’m at 6 months locked and I use the interlocking method but I’m finding my locs are “stuck” in the direction I last ended. I go to the gym and try to put my hair up but it’s difficult.
Right now I’m not doing too many styles. I just switch between a middle part and a side part. I’m waiting until I’m fully locd to really start styling. But the key for me is spraying my hair with water, because it’s easier to mold and style that way.
Hi Josette i love your hair. I am so fan of you. Following you along time ago. Please van youshow how you interlock the front when it refuses to lock. I have this problem with my locks. Thank you. All the best.

I had struggles with unraveling at the front too, so I get the struggle. I braided then interlocked the roots.

I have those areas as well. They refuse to loc, the hair is too soft and short I guess but it's fine.
Awesome update🤗! Thanks for sharing ❤️!
Thanks for watching ☺️

Interesting, I’ve never interlocked the bottom, just the roots. And yeah I have to redo the shorter, softer areas of my hair every reti as well.
I have the same thing in the front of my head. It's soft and won't loc. Trying to see if I can strengthen it.

Yes, it’s definitely really strong. Dr.Bronners works so well with a clarifying shampoo. Thanks for watching☺️
What do you love about it then if it leaves your hair dry? Does it help your scalp ?

How long before you first started budding?

Lovely locs
Thank you!
Do you sleep with a bonnet
No I don’t wear a bonnet, I wear a durag. I have a recent video on my channel all about that.
@@JOSETTEBIANCA thanks
Why don't you interlock the parts at the front that won't lock?
I’ve interlocked them before but they just slip out 😞

@@aminatamane6512 she said it slips out.
What interlocking pattern are you using? I have a looser curl pattern and my edges are super silky. They slip some but nothing major.
Here’s a tip, look for no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
