I thought the corn looked amazing until I saw the even MORE amazing kiddo!! He’s gorgeous!
Mexican corn is a amazing and sinful u cant stop eating it ! Love it
Just made this it was so delicious, I agree with mixing the lime juice in the cream. And extra lime...so flavourful 😋
I like to use leftover corn (not on the cob) from a previous meal to make this. Toss in a pan and cook till slightly charred. Then mix in the mayo/crema and lime. Top with Smoked Paprika and shredded cheese. Serve with homemade tacos de barbacoa.
Yes! That sounds so good. 👍😃
When I find that I so happen to have all the ingredients in the house to make them even if it's only the corn kernels, I get excited.
Chris Luersen Great idea! Sounds delicious... will add to my next Mexican dish. Thx
Cable1101, you are killing me here ! OMG my mouth is watering ! Thanks for the tip amigo !
I never thought about baking corn in the oven, but I will definitely try it!
when I was in Monterrey Mexico the Street Corn Vendors mix the Hot sauce with the Mayo & Cream all together. He would paint the corn with a brush, then sprinkle Cotija all over it. Everyday he would show up, Ring a Bell he had and the kids would pour out of the houses and RUN to him ! Wow I Thought he was the Ice Cream Man at first!
I have never tried those, but always wanted to. Can make my own now. Thanks so much! 🌽 😋
Great video! I love street elote. What I do sometimes is boil the corn in salt water, cut it off the ear and then fry it in real butter until charred. Put it in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Thank you again!
Dale Wright Oh that sounds amazing!! Yum!
Sounds really good
If you are going to char it in a skillet, no need to precook
Delish. One of My Favorite Things. Since leaving the city I have to make my own and I have to make sure I make a lot of corn when I do because I tear through them.
Same here. I actually finished 3 out of the 4 before the day was over. 😥 I 💖 elote...😅
I do mine a little different. I first butter it, then use mayo, then cotija then I sprinkle chili powder & Tajin then a squeeze of lime! So delicious!
💖🤗Omg I love him!!! Thanks for putting him in the video! He's always a little mystery man in the background. I also love oven baked corn as opposed to boiled. It concentrates the sugars in the corn and makes it so much sweeter! 🌺
Thank you! I tell ya...the boy is my "chicle". Lol! I agree. The oven is the way to go. 😃👍
Fr te
my son has that ringtone get that corn out of my face I'm very glad I came across your website you have wonderful recipes thank you so much
I'm making some this weekend! Looks delicious! I used to live in the Mexican border. Reminds me when I used to go to Mexico to the mercado and delicious Mexican food and elotes everywhere! yummy😁. TFS
You are so welcome and I love the street food from the mercados! 😊👍
This was my very first time trying Mexican corn and this was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. Delicious! I did the roasted corn method. Thanks for this recipe.
I love how she explains her recipes ..
Yassss ‼️👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🥰
About the one minute mark was the most beautiful sound in the world! Lucky girl.
What a Great way to roast corn. This looks amazing, too! All of the food you cook looks good. I've only had this made for me in restaurants. I've never attempted to make it on my own, but with your video, it's now something I will make. Maybe even tomorrow!!
Love the variations she does
😍😍😍😍 I just found your channel but you instantly won my heart with the elote haha
I love my elote with mayonaise and cheese! 😋🌽🌽🌽
Gabby Perez yes!!!
my mouth is watering so much.... I think I rehydrated myself....
😁
YUM! Test-driving this tonight. So much fresh corn available in the markets right now.
I have always wanted to know how they did that now I know that and very cute son so cute hugs for the little guy
Lovely recipe, you did it again.
I really love your videos. I love your recipes and I think your family is so lucky to have you
Great video! Exactly what I was looking for! Gracias Ama! 😂
Wow!!! Your amazing with your recipes! Thanks for sharing ❤
Love the recipe! And the Cumbia ☺️
Thank you! 😁
Excellent ! I agree with you. Roasted corn has the perfect texture. Maybe because the cob isn't soaking up the water? Don't get me wrong, boiled corn is still great. Thanks for the tip on mixing the mayo and crema!
I know of another way to cook corn without heating house. Cook in microwave. You wrap it up real tight with plastic wrap with husks on. Cook for a couple minutes until you see plastic wrap swelling up. surprisingly it isn't chewy. It basically steams it and it is better than the oven.
Plus I have been told before that when you boil your corn DO NOT salt water!! It makes your corn tuff and chewy. The salt pulls the moisture out of it. Salt it when you eat it. But each is own, try once and you will notice difference. No change in taste either.
Thanks for wonderful video.
Sounds like a great tip! I must try this. Thanks you! 😊👍
Mark Neff I'll have to remember this! I'm on the Cali/Nevada border (Tahoe) and it gets so hot here it's miserable! I avoid using my oven and stove at all costs in the summer and that's when corn is at its best! Thanks!
I've seen a guy cook it in the microwave, but he leaves the husks on instead. :) I haven't tried it.
I'm hungry, thanks for your great recipes
We call it crazy corn lol. My daughter loves this corn. I don't like lime and didn't like it on my corn, but after seeing you make the sauce I'm willing to try again . Thanks for sharing with us.
Looks fantastic! Muy sabroso! Thanks for sharing!
I watched this video a few days ago, then when I went food shopping I bought nearly everything you said. I loved the awesome taste of Tajin Clasico seasoning, but instead of Parmesan cheese I bought Feta and crumbled it over the corn. Yum, it was outstanding. Thank you for this video.
Wow looks good! Shoot I would eat 2 too. You cook good! I've made some of your recipes and they've came out good!!!! 😘😘😘
You always give me great ideas! Thank you so much!
Omg!!! No judgement here girl. I'd have gone for a 2nd one also!!. Looks yummy
Yum! We usually just use mayo and paprika sometimes. But mostly we use Tajin .
The way you dressed that corn I don't blame you I would be all over that in a heartbeat. Looks amazing one of my favorites.
Hi..ok Im once again inspired. Off to market. Thanks and have a great Cinco de mayo. .
Roasted corn 🌾 is the 💣. Great video.
Grilled corn is one of my favs. I've never cared for boiled much myself.
you are a wonderful teacher - Thank you!
I can make a meal out of Corn on the Cob!! OMG!!
He is SO CUTE! I wanted to try making this. Thanks for the recipe!
And thank you for the tip on baking the corn. I hate boiling it. Idk why I never thought to bake it!
Thank you for sharing!
I like your recipe are so simple.thanks
who cares if you used to much water, you're doing what works for you. No need to explain to us why used that much water. keep doing your thang girl.
Love! 😃💖👍
Chelles Lara Exactly! 🌸 As long as it turns out the way it's supposed to, it doesn't matter the method used to get it done. There's no wrong way. 🙌🏼

Thank you for sharing I had two pieces of corn so I have to eat this corn so I bought it and I thought I would love some Mexican corn but I wasn’t sure how to make it so I thought what the hell let me look on UA-cam and I found your channel and oh thank you so much because I have all the ingredients I don’t have any, but I’ve got Mannix I’ve got the Tatian sauce in the pot a spice I have the hot sauce and I have the corn ready to eat thank you again and I think it was like I put on it and I got there when I got Parmesan cheese I don’t have any case of Fresca in the house I need at all or what’s on something else I think a taco
Oh yeahhhhhh girl! That looked scrumptious :).
Fantastic!!!!
Love this 👏🏿💞
I'm originally from the San Francisco Bay and I've never heard of this street corn before, but I've seen people make this on UA-cam from Martha Stewart to 'Ms.Joe Blow' your's looks the most authentic convincingly so.
Superb.....will try
I love your recipes
The Eggie is sooooo cute!!!!
your little boy is adorable!
Magic! You made it disappear. Looks delicious! 😋 😃
I sure did! 😅
So doing this this soon..... thanks for the post.
I love to mix together my ingredients too I've done this since I was little I would always ask my mom to mix my taco meat with my beans and toppings so every bite was evenly distributed idk maybe my small mouth for a kid wasn't able to eat the taco like adults but hey it stuck and it is the best
Sometimes I make mine in the microwave. Put corn in wet paper towel roll up and cook 5/7 minutes. Works great!
luv your videos do u know of a mexican dish u just do with raw cabbage had it once and enjoy it. it was flavor with something like a tangy sauce?
Have you ever tried the instant pot it works great one minute and then corn is done
I like to microwave mine 4-8 mins depends on crisp or soft. I find has the best smell this way, that's enough to drive me nuts. husk on when done hold some silk as rip husk off comes off clean. sometimes I will pull the husk back before cooking and add salt and or sugar. but I like mine natural.

If you cut both ends off before cooking them it makes easy work to peel of husks and silk. I cook in microwave too so much better.
ahh ty will give a try. ty

I am with you - I don't like boiled corn (my mom used to do it - and I didn't know what I was missing until I went to a corn roast). I have a question - why do you need parchment paper when wrapping the corn for the oven? I never used parchment and would like to know the benefit (new at this)
yummmmy
Mouth watering!
Yum!😉😋🌽looks very good too thanks for sharing this tutorial recipe I must try this. but what did you sprinkle on top is that some other kind of cheese?🤔 it wasn't in the subscription below.
Yummy!!!!!!!
He a chef too aww
Looks yummy! That dish is perfect for corn on the cob! Where did you get it?
I love Elotes!
😀😀😀 con on the cob is 6 for a $1.00 at HEB 😁😁😁 so I got 9 ,but the best thin I found my molcajete on sale $14.00 yaaa im too happy Saludos ☺☺
Nice! Saludos! 💖
Now I want an Elote!!
FYI - sugar doesn't bring out sweetness, salt does. Put salt on half a grapefruit and sugar on the other, the salt side is always sweeter.
dem your hands are fast lol👐
Yummy....
Girlll ❤he is 2 cute. YOU heard him calling you🤣…… Jesus you messed that corn up
I love me some grilled corn 😍🥰
Which is not on the menu 🤪
Hi! How long did you bake the corn for?
Around twenty minutes. :)

I guess, the lime liking brings out the mexican In my blood.

I’ve never tried elotes looks good though
Love elotes I c some use creama and mayo some only use mayo
Elotes tends to disappear in my house almost immediately as well!
😄
VIVA MEXICO !!!

Viva raza!!!!!!
Hello... I know I am a bit late on this posting but, let just say...great job :) one quick question, what is the name of the Cumbia at minute 6:00? I am liking it//… sorry, some of my keys on this keyboard don't seem to be working. Great job again :)
Let me get back with you on that. I know for a fact it's a You Tube music library song.
Yummmm
Delicioso.😊
Hi, I’m from the other side of the world, New Zealand and I would love to make this but we don’t sell those sorts of spices, Mexican cream or Cojita cheese here at our local stores. Can you suggest a website to buy them from? Or alternatives?
If I just pull back the husk, before cooking with any method, then use the husks as the handle, does that work?
Can I bake the corn cobs and still serve them on a hot dog cart hours later? Thanks!!!
It looks good, but I can't do mayo! I use butter, lime juice, salt, lots of black pepper & Tajin
