So I looked this up to get a shocked reaction, like I was shocked first hearing it. And y’all are the only reaction to this song, and it was definitely genuine, and hey! You’re both attractive and likable bearded dudes, so that’s a plus in my book. My first experience with AJJ was at a music fest, the first one I ever went to, and my buddy got everyone in a smoke circle and he played ajj’s “I love you” solo acoustic.. and from the beginning lyrics, “I like telling dirty jokes, and I like smoking crystal meth, but darling I love you!”” I knew it his was something real and abrasive and powerful. Thanks for the reaction boys! Ya done good! And yeah this song is about mental illness and how society sees it as a negative when we all go through it.. good stuff!

I love this song but when I went to biology class we talked a bit bout’ the parasympathetic system and sympathetic system while lookin’ at the brain at it always sorta annoyed me that it was basically scientifically incorrect. Still love the song either way though.
I love this band. One of my all time favorites. I recommend “Love in the time of Human papillomavirus”, “sense sensibility”, or “normalization blues” for a newer song
Love the honest reaction, I will say I get that the song makes you uncomfortable but that is the point. He’s not saying we have the potential to be pieces of shit, we have the potential to be seriously evil.

Hell yeah. Just got outside for my lunch break at work and saw this. Haven't watched yet. but thanks for the reaction! I love this song. AJJ- short for Andrew Jackson Jihad, changed their name to AJJ officially after feeling conflicted about possibly giving the impression that they support Andrew Jackson, or Jihad I suppose. They show an honest vulnerability, in a way that few other punk bands do, and have a raw, but not abrasive sound. I love them. The lead singer did live accoustic concerts for something like 195 days in a row during the quarantine. They are all on UA-cam. 💙
Man, People II is rough to start with, lol... Might as well has started you with Bad Bad Things... I like the first 3 songs a lot... Side note, politicians do belong in that category, though...
And here I was thinking I would get to blow your minds with this jam. This entire album is meant to be uber shock value. These guys are obviously not for everyone with their lyrics but they almost have a Folk Punk Rage Against the Machine vibe. This entire album is only 25 minutes long so if you ever want to do a quick album react this one is great. Lot's of F-Bombs for Chuck to enjoy and their music is very well played. The lead singer's singing is so bad that it's weirdly good. In a world where everyone's voice is engineered to sound perfect it has a oddly satisfying tone. Toss in the second half of the song which makes you so uncomfortable that you actually think about the message. Anyway, just geeking over a local Phoenix band that I've seen live a bunch. Great reaction!
this is a case of the albums overall story being more importan over the songs themselves they form a story a very deppresing story about humanity itself but in a mostly upbeat way almost making it harder to take
