- This video was originally supposed to come out down the road when the truck was running again... but as you will see, that won't be for a while now...
In this episode I find another deal on a classic truck. I'm not sure what my plans are for it, but when someone offers you a truck for a couple hundred bucks... you don't say no.

You might need a doorbell camera. It’s quite possible that the “carrier” is the culprit (been there) and a camera will shut that down the first time it happens. Can’t point fingers when your employee is on video walking away with the package.

Too bad you are the victim of theft. However, you will LOVE the F250. I've had mine for 25 years now. It's similar to yours. I use it as a truck. Not hotrod or modifications at all. Just keep it running and use it. My B5 S4 is the same Cactus Green as yours. I've got project Urs cars in my backyard as well. If your not careful you will end up with a boat and a tractor a car trailer a motorcycle a couple of muscle cars and a plane as well. Projects, You don't any more projects. DO YOU???

That carrier is very suspect, I also had an order that was “delivered” and it was very much not delivered. Funny thing is I had two pieces, two tracking #, which one was delivered with a photo.. The missing one did not…
The more I look into them the deeper the rabbit hole goes. Stolen packages left and right, 0 communication, and false tracking info... Super scary
You are definitely one of the good people. Hope you get sometthng back from this mess. Can't wait to hear that 7.5 litter beast roar again! (and the S6 too)

@@HunterDirection Im curious what you are going to do with your autopark, when you finally "fix" all of these. As I counted, you have 6 cars in your driveway. A lot of to maintain and drive.

@@intars8475 that is a very good question. In my eyes the level of each of these cars' need varies pretty drastically. Specifically the TT and the S4 are pretty close to being complete as projects. I'd like to do rods in the TT and turbos in the S4 but after those, other than a couple little things(and paint someday), they already have most of the mods they can have. So I really just plan to enjoy them and work on them as they need. The E30 is going to be a big Focus coming up as there are a number of big projects I have planned for it this year. But I wanted to get the S6 running first since I don't like having cars that sit too long. The GTI engine swap is going to be a much longer and more involved build. I'm also toying with turning that one into an actual race car that I learn to drive on the track with. My case is also a bit unique as far as someone who owns multiple cars though since a big reason I own them is that I make episodes on them. Long-term a lot of these will likely be swapped out for other cars/platform to experience and learn from. But at the moment I'm just enjoying all of them haha. I also bought most of these at a really low point in their depreciation curve. So given what I could sell a number of them for today compared to what I paid for them I'm not in a huge rush to sell anything right now.
@@HunterDirection Can't wait to see all of that. My concern is for you not to burn out from this type of quality in your videos. I assume you just enjoy production as much as building cars. Also I am sure you know how to adjust your budget so you don't burn out on financial. You know, new house, garage build, multiple expensive parts on S6, pretty much high expenses every week.
I found you, because I was looking for cool E30 builds. I love your E30. It looks so good even with those visual defects. They are more like effects. Keep going with this flow because you already have a good core community who loves what you do here.
@@intars8475 oh trust me. The videos and the production is what I like more than anything at all! My dream is to direct and write films someday so I see UA-cam as the perfect learning ground for that because I have full creative freedom. I see all my episodes as short films, which happened to feature cars, rather than car videos haha. The financial aspect is definitely a valid concern haha these videos make nothing compared to what they cost to produce both time and actual finances, so it's definitely a labor of love. If anything my goal going forward is to only increase production quality as I learn more and get better film gear
Crazy to think that a developed country deals so much with parcel theft. A thing that is rather rare here in Europe. Certainly none of my thousands of packages ever went missing, no matter the value

My take on it is pretty simple: If you are shipping packages, you or the carrier needs to be insured for theft. If Amazon is for packages that are so ridiculously cheap that they can replace third party shipments, you know Summit has to be, and the back and forth fingerpointing would make me never want to deal with a company again. Hell, on your behalf I don't want to deal with them, because it's just a gross scummy vibe.
I bought a $500 bucket, 94 c2500 with a 5.7 tbi. Didn't run or drive, previous owner said trans was bad. After some troubleshooting i got it running, it runs bad but its a work in progress, i hope you get yours going.
i bet that bb ford also has the factory posi. i think you count the bolts on the pumpkin? pretty sure it was standard with the big blocks tho. bad part is 8mpg as is. prolly more like 4mpg after you mod it. holley efi helps, kind of. hard to keep your foot out of a lumpy grunty engine like that. the engine has all the refinement of an ogre. but there is a real appeal to the delivery of old american pig iron.

The carrier 100% stole the packaged, if they didnt steal the S6 parts why would they take the box with the ford parts?
Yeah that's a valid theory.... I wouldn't be suprised:/ The big difference is the S6 parts were delivered by FedEx as opposed to ontrac who delivered the Ford parts
@@HunterDirection Seems fishy, I’d try to just chargeback or find out who was in the route that day. And just file an claim against them in small claims court

I had the exact same truck except mine was the camper special. Mine also had the 460, drove it all over the state of Alaska for about 15 years. Biggest problem was you didn't dare drive past a gas station.
I feel your pain. Unfortunately, the crime level in your neighborhood must not be a variable in the insurance of a postal carrying company. They might be able to help with damage if the package was there, but the package being stolen Is out of their hands. All you can do is set up a camera and hope to catch them again next time

Yeah I think so too! It's going to be a really cool vehicle to drive side by side with the euro cars! Plus if I find a trailer I could have a period correct tow rig to bring the e30 or gti to the track hah

How do you not have cameras? At least then you can tell if it was stolen or the carrier took it after they took the picture.
