I’m glad to hear good things about this cert. I’m currently on course 4 out of 8 and been grinding 12 hours a day on this cert.
good work 🫡
Is it free ? If not how much does it cost to enrol in this course and sit for the exam afterwards?

I too have just seen this new offering from Google. I was thinking of taking this course because it looked legit, but now after seeing your video I will def be taking this course. Thank you for the putting this video out there, it solidifies my intuition of trying out this course. I like your content, straight and to the point, no beating around the bush. Keep up the great work.
Thanks mate, I appreciate your kind words. Good luck with the cert and keep up the good work 🎉
This video came at the right time. I do currently have Security+ materials and plan on taking that. That plus the Google Cert seems to be a great foundation combo that will get my foot in the door.
good luck!! and when you finish it, check this out for an idea of what to do after:

Awesome stuff, definitely gonna jump into this soon!

Wow thank u so much for covering this! I’ve been overwhelmed with so many resources and like u said i see so many people saying study A+, network+, and security+ which would take forever. I will definitely start on this course next week.
good luck!
The fact that you take the time to reply to the comments after already delivering great content is next level. You earned my sub 1000 times over.

A solid review of the course. You did a great job in the review.

You are amazing - this was exactly what I needed. So many are telling me I need my Comptia to start and Cyber Security is my end goal so I've been feeling super overwhelmed thinking how am I going to spend another year study and then only get a look into Cyber Security. I'm so grateful I came across your video Thank you so much !!!
So glad this helped! I don’t know why people still insist on A+, Net+ and CCNA 🤦🏻♂️

Great review! I am currently on Course 5, working steadily through the course. It's very informational and explains some topics MUCH better than the instruction I've received in school. I am updating my resume as I go along and setting up my GitHub for the first time! I love this course!
well done my friend, that’s awesome to hear 🎉🎉
How can I get this although the course era is asking to do this with prime or pro membership Is this the only way to get this certification or this course .? Please reply and Thank You in advance ❤
Hey bro. I'm about to start studying in order to get into the Cyber security field. I have zero experience and knowledge in the field. I'm 29 from Italy.
Would you say this course is suitable for me or is it too advanced? Thanks a lot, good luck with your studies

First off Unix…your content is seriously awesome. I love how you get straight to the point with no fluff. You’ve given me a lot of great advice before I embark on my new journey into IT. If you have time to reply to this comment I’d be extremely grateful…
Anyways, you really intrigued me with this video because at the moment I’m dealing with financial issues so I’m trying to be as methodical as possible in terms of what certifications I pursue. After listening to this it seems this could be a good starting point, but I wonder if there’s another cert or certs that I should also pursue after finishing this one that would really ensure I can find a job. I’m fine with entry level, and I’m willing to keep piling them on. I just really want to focus on acquiring what I need to get my foot in the door and build from there. So, if there was one or maybe 2 other certifications I go after aside from this what would they be?
Regardless, thanks for all you do for us newbies trying to better our lives and pursue a career in this awesome field. Take care pal!
Hey mate, thanks for your kind words!
A lot goes into getting a job that just a cert, but this particular cert is a great start. Career change is always challenging and will require a lot of work and tenacity.
I think once you do this one, you can branch out and specialise, if you watch to the end of the video, I link up another video with more certs that you can do.
Learning is a journey and the certs won’t guarantee a job but you’re acquiring skills that will eventually lead to a job
Thanks so much for the journey of becoming a cyber security professional, you've simplified the process of digging deep into moving onto a new career and I do appreciate your effort mate
My pleasure!
Wow so it was actually worth getting Thanks for the info!

I'm 43 and just starting this whole cybersecurity journey as well, purchased 5 books today and will start this certification next week....age is just a number to an extent 😄
It’s better doing something while we are breathing than regretting at doing anything 😎🙌…I’m on my 40th as well 😅
45 and considering to start. Cybersecurity looks way more interesting than other IT PM or service delivery jobs. I want to solve problems, analyze and run away from politics
I am 37, was having second thoughts on venturing into cybersecurity but now you have motivated me. Thanks
Can’t believe I just stumbled on this gem. I’ve done the isc 2 CC certification and passed it, I’ve been confused about how to move forward. This is super helpful. Thank you!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the video you’ve shared on the topic of cybersecurity, which has inspired me to join the course today. I wasn't sure where to begin, but my route was plainly laid out here. I deeply respect the time and effort you spent creating such a wonderful tutorial video. It’s clear this was a labor of love, and I appreciate your efforts in providing helpful information to your audience.

You are one of the first channels I started watching in kickstarting my journey in cybersecurity, appreciate your videos. I have followed your advice so far to skip ccna (haha), and have completed the isc2 cc and this google cert.
Hopefully Sec+ next but would appreciate any advice on what else as I want to work towards the goal of a GRC role. Thank you.
Hi Hui, well done on getting those certs, you’re well ahead of the curve! for GRC I recommend ISACA certs, which I talked about in this video:
ua-cam.com/video/s9LDWLfFOp8/v-deo.html
However, you should already be applying to jobs and trying to get your foot in door, it’s not easy but we need to start somewhere. Watch this video about how to do it (note you dont need BTL cert for GRC:
ua-cam.com/video/DRJic8vCodE/v-deo.html
@@UnixGuy Thank you for your prompt reply. I have just watched both videos. Got it~ Will try my best to start with an entry level analyst role, and hopefully start working on those isaca or isc2 grc related certs after sec+. Appreciate your channel and advice.

Thanks for covering the course! The voucher for Security+ makes this really appealing to me honestly. I was going to take the Security+ after my Google IT Support certification, but if this one can teach me the skills needed and give me a discount for it on top of it then that's what I'm going to do!
sounds like a plan, good luck 🫡
same here :)
How much of a discount? If it's 10% it might not be worth it.
@@UnixGuy What is the discount? Because I have enrolled in Comptia Security+ through my university and I am just about to pay the fee. Let me know soon!
Be careful, from what I've heard Sec+ is difficult even for people in the field
short and straight to the point!! Thanks

I am glad i watched this one. I have been in the It field for 6 years now with mainly NOC MSP experience. I was going to study for CCNA just to have a certificate, but i do not qant a career in networking ( switches and routers) this video is great and provided the answer and guidance i was looking for given that the google cert covera foundation networking skills. I also found it a waste of time to need to study for CCNA when in the last four years i have been working with switches. Thank you very much.
glad you found it helpful and yes I agree with your points 💯
I completed this course in under 7 days non sleep !and I am now invested in learning more on splunk, chronicle, python, SQL, wireshark and tcpdump on the side lines to enhance the hands on experience, WOW its amazing!
wow you are a machine, well done 🫡 so excited for you , great things about to come your way
How many hour s a day did you spend to get that timeframe? Congratulations!
I'm currently taking the Google IT Support certificate, and while I'm learning a ton off it, I really struggled with the Network section. Networking is something I really want to understand and know. I'm unsure if it's because Networking is extremely difficult to understand, or if the course wasn't done well. I felt like they just threw a bunch of IP addresses at me and gave me acronyms every 10 seconds. I passed that section but felt like I learned nothing. Hoping to learn from another source such as this, or elsewhere.
Networking will keep coming up so don’t steess. This course goes over it again and you can always look for topics you don’t grasp and deep dive in them
Powercert, Sunny classroom and certbros here on UA-cam are excellent with networking topics and free
@@UnixGuy The Professor Messer recommendation you gave was excellent. His Network+ is a long series of many short videos, but all were succinct and helpful. I went through about a third of the course in 2 long afternoons, so it is doable. I take handwritten notes and then type them up, I feel very prepared for interviews. I'm currently pursuing the two bootcamps that pay you to train.
Thank you for sharing your insights about the best beginner cybersecurity course. I'm a shifter to cybersecurity. I'm into IT dekstop technical support. You did a great job making tutorials.
