      Thank you Mona! I try and be as careful as I can up at the rim. It is inevitable that some may get onto the rim or a little into the tumbler and I just clean it as I go so that way once it is done there isn’t a huge mess to clean at the end.

    Thank you so much for your awesome video, I had never tried an ink drop on epoxy yet and followed you video and for some reason my inks didn’t want to move. I used a 20oz tumbler with 20oz of epoxy. Any tips for me?

    • @SandysOrganizedChaos
      @SandysOrganizedChaos  2 роки тому +1

      The only thing I can think is to make sure not to use too much heat, and to make sure to not let the epoxy sit to long before applying the drips. You want a longer set time so those drips can slip around and do what you’d like.

    I'm new at this but I thought epoxy repelled against GLOSS spray paint? Please correct me of I'm wrong

    • @SandysOrganizedChaos
      @SandysOrganizedChaos  3 роки тому +1

      That’s a great question. I haven’t noticed. But I do add a thicker coat of epoxy over the paint so my swirls have room to swirl. I can see if you apply a very thin coat over the paint how it may wick away making fisheyes.

  • @donnabaldwin1096

    Sandy do you have any trouble using the epoxy. I think the kind I use is making me cough. It's so so storm smelling. I've been using the kind from hobby lobby. Any suggestions?

    • @SandysOrganizedChaos

      If you believe your epoxy is making you cough you should definitely look into a respiratory for yourself. Your health and safety first!

    Could you use a heat tool on this, or would that be too hot?

    • @SandysOrganizedChaos

      Like a heat gun? You could. I just like the blow dryer because it moves the inks around a little better.

    Thxx

    • @SandysOrganizedChaos
      @SandysOrganizedChaos  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you! You could use your heat gun if that is all you have. It is a little better to be able to move the epoxy up and down a bit with a blow dryer. But again, we have to work with what we have so a heat gun is fine.
