    *Slight Addendum* :
So I was wrong in that Cyrene was _not_ the sole survivor of Monarchia's destruction, but one of only a handful. My mistake.
Also apologies if my voice sounds slightly off, I was dealing with a throat infection at the time. Also, turns out she turns up within the novel "Mortis". Bugger.

Or that the word bearers in particular had major insecurities. No surprise really, they are the product of a being with godlike powers who denies his godlike existence, told by their demigod leader that he is a god, arepunished by said god for generating him, try their best to inspire humanity only to be ignored an awful lot by others of their kind, the list goes on.

Word Bearers weren't the only ones who had something like this, to my not-so-vast knowladge, Kyril Sanderman (sorry if spelled wrong) the prime iterator assigned to Luna Wolfes/Sons of Horus served also a role very similar to confessor/psychologist for the Astartes. It could also be their only way to express in defiance to their genetically superimposed loyalty to Lorgar
Because I got a feeling that a lot of them knew what they were doing was wrong but they really couldn't do anything because they were bound to Lorgar's will

@@razvanconstantin740 Not really. Lorgar was once a good man,and so were his men. Unfortunately, they both had the same flaw, which in turn was once their greatest strength:Conviction. Faith. Determination. If the Fall of Monarchia never happened, they would have been the Emperor's greatest enforcers after the Great Crusade. Because it happened, both Lorgar and his sons despised him with equal fervour, and were equally in need of a higher power. Both Kor and Erebus already had their beliefs previously, and they simply gave them their wish. Ironically, it's thought that the gods of Cholchis were actually the vanilla versions of the Chaos Gods,so,in a way, they returned to their original Faith.

Cyrene is Kara Swole. She spent millennia being the carefree young woman she missed out on being, making a living as an acrobat, moving from planet to planet so as not to arouse suspicion and to see the galaxy.
Over the years she started to come to terms with what the Emperor did at Monarchia and to see how evil the forces of Chaos were. Nine thousand years or so after the events of the Horus Heresy she feels like it's time to do something meaningful with her life and joins up with the Inquisition when the opportunity comes along. Being 10,000 years old she's still cynical and lukewarm about the Imperium and the Emperor, which is why she joins up with the WORST. INQUISITOR. EVER. Her hair blew free in a mane, and she watched the utterly silent, utterly still city to the east. In the last hours, burning blurs had floated upwards: each one a landing craft belonging to the XIII Legion, each one returning to the heavens now that their warriors’ work was done."

The First Heretic has the distinction of being one of my least favorite novels, with one of my favorite Emperor moments. I love the fact that Big E made Lorgar and the entire Word Bearers legion kneel with just one psychic word.
On topic, a lot of characters in the book act weirdly different from their usual personalities. Especially Guilliman and the Emperor. We have Guilliman and the Uktramarines acting like World Eaters with twice the Butcher’s Nails and on meth, for no discernible reason. Monarchia had yielded to the imperium, the Word Bearers weren’t even there, yet the Ultramarines were disjointed and skittish against a bunch of civilians. I mean these people worshipped the Emperor. Had Guilliman said, “Dad wants you all to clear out of here,” they’d have done it.

A theory I have that others might share... The Emperor wants Abaddon to get to him, When the Emperor fought that super powerful daemon guy who I forget but had to do with murder, he got stabbed the said daemon, and the daemon became a sword, a strangely ornate sword, that was then "given" to a Custodes for safe keeping, Abaddon would then have to fight through a literal fuck ton of daemons to get the sword, almost as if they didn't want him to have it, and ever since he got it he has "failed" just about every Black Crusade he started. My theory is that the Emperor could not destroy or kill the Murder-Daemon, but he could've "reprogrammed" it, by imbuing apart of himself into it. I believe that Abaddon has become an unwitting pawn for the Emperor, and should he reach and "slay" the Emperor, this is the part where I stretch things a little too much, the reprogrammed super powerful OP Murder-Daemon would instead rejuvenate the Emperor in a sense. With how the warp works, if enough people believe something to be true, than it becomes true, at least in the Warp, so with the uncountable population of humanity all believing that the Emperor is a God, he has essentially become one, whether he likes it or not, and with the final kick from failbaddon I believe he will achieve full God Status and give those Chaos boys a stern talking to. Fill in whatever gaps in logic I have with your own crazy spin I'm interested in seeing if this conversation goes anywhere.

      Drachnyen
Yes, he gave the sword to a loyal Custodes.
Drachnyen himself also said.. "All the stars in the universe will go dark before a golden one (Custodes) betrays their father"
So how did Abbadon gret Drachnyen, if a custodes would never betray the emperor?
The God Emperor is playing 4D chess, while everyone else is playing Go Fish, you HAVE to assume he planned this, in some way shape or form... considering he allowed Drach'nyen to wound him as well as quenching him in the blood of his Custodes.

She could have become Celestine, the Living Saint. As the book ( by the Same Name) apparently mentions how "her earliest known form she was a citizen of Terra during the Horus Heresy. She was killed during the orbital bombardment of Terra during the Siege of the Emperor's Palace." while a bit of a stretch, but it could be possible that she somehow got the Terra after the destruction of the Fidelitas Lex.
That along with her ability to have been "aware" of her soul/self while in the warp and the tortured by Demons, reminds me of "Celestine's Trials" that would lead to her resurrection.
As for her Perpetual nature, as a Repentia she was able to heal her wounds fast enough that would have seemed "miraculous", However that might have been, in the end, "overwritten" by her ascension to Living Sainthood after entering the hidden crypt on Sanctus Lys and donning the Armour of Saint Katherine.

Hahahaha.. If only this video waited another year or so before being released (yeah, sound like the video itself decided to be released early I know), we could've had the entire answer of what became of her.. Then I guess the video would've been redundant then.. But oh well, still fun to watch & enjoy the speculations even though we now know..
And yeah, she did in fact become an extremely potent pysker.. Though I feel like she became far too powerful far too quickly. Perhaps the effects of having your soul shredded over & over again by the denizens of the warp

Can the sigilite. Malcador...had been working against the emperor? Not against humanity mind you. But against the emperor.
He. Like, the emperor shown great interest in being helpful to humanity and being quite mercyless (like the emperor himself) but malcador did lots of things which... turned the emperium in what it is. The exact opposite of the place of reason and logic the emperor envisioned.

    • @billfred9411
      @billfred9411 2 роки тому

When Malcador was alive the imperium was very different and the Emperor wasint openly worshiped. Basically the emperor and Malcador were holding the imperium together and when the Horus heresy happen they were both taken out of the picture which led to everything falling apart very fast. From what we know they were totally loyal to each other because there goals lined up. My guess is almost dying wasint part of the emperors plan and him becoming worshiped is bound to happen if he isn't there to stop it.
