What is the small grey, serrated pedestal you attached to the figure too while painting?
great video, would love to see a Japanese painting tutorial. seems fitting after this one
can you please paint the japenes bambo spear fighters, imperial japanese infantry, and the japanese special naval landing force with the army painters paints please.
Epic Paint Job!
Would love to see you paint up Merrill's Marauders from the CBI Theater of WW2 (Burma Campaign).
IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG!!!!!! MANY THANKS!!! Very nicely done, honestly this has been my most anticipated video on youtube for the past year
No problem :)

You are really talented painter. I feel happy to see ur new video every time.
Great tutorial the figure looks really nice thanks mate
this works well, if you only have one figure to paint, I have 90 Infantry, let alone al the crewed weapons to paint.
Just strip out the highlighting steps. Basecoat and wash is all you need for a decent yet speedy paint job.
Stunning
Thanks. Now I have a nice uniform way of painting up my 50+ marines force 😎
Definitely stealing this technique! I have a whole slew of USMC stuff to review for Warlord and I think I will just go ahead and give this video a plug when I get to them. =) If you're OK with that.
I would honestly have attempted to brush paint that camo on my miniatures... Amazingly simple idea :)
It's all about finding those painting shortcuts
Nice job mate
Great videos
Does any one know where I can find a painting guide for the us rangers
Could you do tutorial where you do the helmet cameo on the rest of the model?
While the rest of the mini is excellent, the camo is terrible.
I love how these guys look! However, I do have one question
As I primarily use the GW range of paints, what are approximate equivalents to the colors used? The skin and the browns are rather obvious, but I'm not sure quite what to use to get that green.
Squidgie McTentacles Have a look at Loren forest for the green, I’m looking at Loren forest and army green right now and they seem the same
Death World Forest is closest.
Could you show how to properly paint Romanian infantry from Flames of War?
do you need to use the military shader wash, I am on a strict budget on what to buy
What kind of primer paint should I use
Can u please paint some Imperial Japanese
What do you use for rock base
After the wash step (specifically the army wash) I get a significant gloss look on the is there are way to dull that or keep more muted?
Late to the party here, but I personally finish my minis (especially military ones) with Testors matte spray lacquer it will take care of any shiny areas and help protect the paint job from chipping or scratches due to handling or the inevitable fall to the floor that happens during gaming.
Amazing! What's the trade of the paints that you use?
I used the Army Painters range: amzn.to/2i9deh9
You forgot to add green to the helmet cover, friend-o.
Depends on the version I am looking at my actual vintage USMC helmet and cover from WW2 and the version I have is only brown no greens
Did you paint the lip and rim of the base with Army Painter - Oak brown, or Dark stone?
Oak Brown if I recall correctly.
Pete The Wargamer thanks for replying:) And thank you! How did you do this base? Was it the same scheme as the tutorial of ‘basic bases’ so steel legion base followed by baneblade brown hilights etc?
2nd!!!!
