Garden bed/box maintenance is a relentless and never ending garden chore.
Love it
I love watching your videos. We are trying garden boxes this year instead of traditional gardening. Liking it so far and it's so pretty too. Have added some solar lights as well. Just loving it! Thanks for sharing your love of gardening with us.
So nice of you
Hey Greg
Nice job...love to see hand tools being used. I keep a couple of my old carpentery hand saws in my garden shed, power tools generally do not make an appearance in my garden! 😂
One of the things I love about gardening here in SW Ontario is that we do not have blackflies to deal with...😂😂
Cheers and have a great day!
Mike
Have you ever tried cover crops in those early finished beds to keep roots in the soil? I think I may try that this year with radishes and rye. Bed looks great.
Yes- they work if you time them right
What size wood do you get? 2X4? 2X6? I am busy building beds at the moment.
2x6 or 1x6
I built my last bed out of 1x6 boards with 2x4s for supports and backing.
