As a Gen Z 2000s girlie, I remember a lot of hose toys, particularly the Easy Bake Oven and Betty Spaghetti! I briefly had an Easy Bake Oven and my sister had a Betty Spaghetti and loved her! And the Norman Bates ad page is also giving Twilight vibes, with the cloudy sky and pine trees

The bumble bee-ry was my favorite, I just love bumble bees. I liked your hair washing instructions. A little hack though, I use one of those silicone head massagers that are popular these days to gently massage the shampoo into my hair and scalp. My hair has never felt cleaner and I can go longer between washes now.

Heh heh, I had an Easy Bake and had a nice time baking the teeniest little brownies and cakes. Eventually I realized I could ask to use the oven and make a WHOLE PAN of brownies... especially I asked for more mixes and my mom said a box mix is the same thing, lol. I knew about conditioner only going on the ponytail part, but I didn't know the reverse for shampoo. I like the fruit bugs, but you did too good a job on that spider *shiver* (considerable arachnophobia here 😅 ) The page reminds me of a video game called Bugsnax which has a cute style, but ends up a bit horrific, lol Anyway, fun video and I hope the learning-new-equipment process isn't too frustrating 👍:)

Also, super random thought if you ever get caught up you got SOOOO much going on but I did something recently and thought of you and how good you would do at it. You know that game Guess Who? We have that at our house but my son got bored of all the characters that come with it, it made the game too easy. Soooooo I made my own Guess Who board and he LOVES IT!!! The shampoo page was so informative that I may have my daughters watch it!! 😅❤ Movies use the numbers 555-0100 to 555-0199, so they don't actually give out a number. Those numbers are reserved for fictional use. The bug berries made me question if camp fruit drink is made from the bug berries as it is frequently called bug juice(mostly because bugs like to die in them)! 🐜🍓 They are really cute for bugs!! 😍 I loved your nostalgia page!! 💞 I'm 60, and easy bake ovens and lite brights were super hot ticket items in my childhood too!! 🤣🤗
The easy bake is still around too! Some things will never go anywhere! I found it so funny that there is a real bates motel. I imagine they have to get prank calls all of the time just based on that.

I wanted a Furby SO BAD. My mom refused to get me one because her friend said her kid's Furby wanted to play hide and seek in the middle of the night. Mid 90s to Early 00s toys are so cool. I don't comment much, but I always faithfully watch your videos and am amazed by your creativity. Do you have any plans for other prompt books (or your own prompts/ideas) for when you finish Moriah's awesome books? Ps. I just learned how to wash my hair today. Embarrassing. But the cold water part is not going to happen. Not even now in summer and definitely not in winter.
Hahaha! It's a lot less traumatic if you have a detachable shower head. Your scalp isn't half as sensitive as the rest of your body. But I usually don't do the cold water either. I heat style my hair so any good that comes from a cold rinse is instantly undone. I have a HEAP of ideas for when I finish the Create This Book series. I've already bought Wreck This Journal and Draw Your Journal, so definitely more prompt stuff, but I have about 1000 random projects I want to try alongside those.

Hey, I have a question. When you are drawing in your create this book, do you sketch before in a sketch book? Or do you draw directly into the book using reference pictures? Or just from your head? I am currently starting my create this book, and I'm eager to learn! Love your art! ❤
Great question! So it depends on the medium I plan to use. If I'm using colored pencils (or sometimes watercolor because it doesn't really bleed that bad if you don't use a ton of water) I will sketch straight into the book. Anything outside the book that I glue in, I'll sketch on that paper (just regular printer paper). I almost always sketch beforehand and I do like to use references most of the time. Like for the bugs, I'd use a reference of the bug, a reference of the berry and then merge them.
Oh, I just meant the next installment of the series that I'm already doing. As in the next episode might not come out on Wednesday like everyone expects. I gotta finish all of these before doing anything else! Lol.

Those numbers are reserved for fictional use. The bug berries made me question if camp fruit drink is made from the bug berries as it is frequently called bug juice(mostly because bugs like to die in them)! 🐜🍓 They are really cute for bugs!! 😍 I loved your nostalgia page!! 💞 I'm 60, and easy bake ovens and lite brights were super hot ticket items in my childhood too!! 🤣🤗
The easy bake is still around too! Some things will never go anywhere! I found it so funny that there is a real bates motel. I imagine they have to get prank calls all of the time just based on that.

Ps. I just learned how to wash my hair today. Embarrassing. But the cold water part is not going to happen. Not even now in summer and definitely not in winter.
Hahaha! It's a lot less traumatic if you have a detachable shower head. Your scalp isn't half as sensitive as the rest of your body. But I usually don't do the cold water either. I heat style my hair so any good that comes from a cold rinse is instantly undone.
I have a HEAP of ideas for when I finish the Create This Book series. I've already bought Wreck This Journal and Draw Your Journal, so definitely more prompt stuff, but I have about 1000 random projects I want to try alongside those.
There’s an “Oddities and Curiosities “ expo in a couple of weeks in Providence and there is a rat 🐀 taxidermy class for $285. I told my friend I would consider paying $285 to NOT go to it.
🤣 We have a shop here in Denver called the Terrorium (because they specialize in creepy terrariums) and they do taxidermy classes for a crazy fee too.
@@artwithashleighmonet aww man I missed it when I was out there like 15 years ago. I actually LOVED Boulder, what a weird lil artsy town!!!! I highly recommend the Celestial Seasonings factory tour if you like hot or iced tea. It was a great tour!! They had the original art from their boxes!!!

Hey, I have a question. When you are drawing in your create this book, do you sketch before in a sketch book? Or do you draw directly into the book using reference pictures? Or just from your head? I am currently starting my create this book, and I'm eager to learn! Love your art! ❤
Great question! So it depends on the medium I plan to use. If I'm using colored pencils (or sometimes watercolor because it doesn't really bleed that bad if you don't use a ton of water) I will sketch straight into the book. Anything outside the book that I glue in, I'll sketch on that paper (just regular printer paper). I almost always sketch beforehand and I do like to use references most of the time. Like for the bugs, I'd use a reference of the bug, a reference of the berry and then merge them.
