omg i alos love the office, a couple years ago i had a party themed just like the sad party. I even had the sign too :D
That's so great! I saw a pregnancy announcement with the same theme and the banner read "it is a baby." Hahaha.

❤❤❤ this! I have a bad relationship with paint pens - they either don't flow properly or the blob a load of paint in one spot so frustrating and heartbreaking! It's fabulous seeing you paint and draw freehand. No pencil sketch or anything ❤
So I actually just learned a trick that has been a game changer. Apparently all paint pens have removable nibs, and if it's clogged, you just pull the nib out with tweezers, run it under hot water to clear the clog, pop it back in and it works again like new. Can't tell you how many pens I threw away thinking I was cursed. Hahaha.
Also, full transparency - I almost always do a pencil sketch, I just think my camera doesn't pick up the lines very well because I sketch so lightly.
Ive never seen Mean Girls or The Office, but still, fun. I can't believe you actually kissed the book! For some reason my brain said "acrylic paint on the lips???" But surely you just used lipstick 😅
Actually, I truly did put acrylic paint on my lips. washed it off immediately after, of course.

May I ask: if you use watercolors or any different kind of paint, do you do that on a regular sheet of (cheap) printer paper? Or do you use a more sturdy kind of paper?
I strictly use regular printer paper. I don't personally find a need to buy more expensive paper, plus I don't want to add too much bulk to the book. I make sure not to do more than one layer of watercolor at a time and let it dry in between so it doesn't rip. It will warp, but as soon as I coat the page in mod podge, it flattens back out.
I just found you yesterday and have been binging your videos (out of order lol). One little piece of feedback.. your highlight song is played a little too frequently and is too long :( Would you consider shortening it?
Lol. Glad you were able to do a mini binge. I have gotten feedback from a couple of people about the highlight song. In my most recent video I limited myself to playing it once only. I'll probably continue to do that moving forward.
matching colors isn't "so ocd"...and it's pretty offensive to those of us that suffer from OCD
First and foremost, I do NOT mean to offend anyone. I am extremely obsessive over colors and matching - not just in my art, but in everyday life (my closet is arranged by color, if that tells you anything.) There are many types of OCD and obsession that revolves around colors matching falls within the Perfectionism/Symmetry/Ordering OCD.
@@artwithashleighmonet yes but unless you have diagnosed ocd, you shouldn’t throw the term around. It leads to those uneducated about ocd believing it’s all about order and cleanliness, when it is much more mental distress about a large variety of topics!
