I’ve been on several cruises with RC, they are the best cruise line. Cruises are the best vacation for the money. I’d have no issue going by myself, I’m an introvert anyway, yet the bars are always social and I dance with random people anyway. People are friendly and will talk to you. I rarely do the My Time Dining, because I like the variety of the buffet aka the Windjammer. Always book excursions through RC because if anything happens and you run late the ship will wait for you. That happens to us once because we had a flat tire on the way back to the ship. The ship WILL leave you if your late. Lots of great advice, I always overpack because I dress based on how I feel that day and I never know till the time comes. Lol If you get photos done on the ship they’re expensive just FYI. TFS, welcome to team cruise!! ❤

I second this! We loved carnival. I’m 27 and introverted who loves me time but also loves drinking at a peaceful bar with my husband… and it gave all the good vibes, I definitely recommend trying it. We also scheduled it in August which is when school starts for kids so we also didn’t have to deal with lots of kids on board.

This video is so timely for me as I'm taking my very first ever cruise on Virgin's Resilient Lady next year so your tips on what you needed vs what you didn't will be super helpful. I've always been hesitant about liking cruising but your enthusiasm about loving it is catching. I'm going with a group, so hope to make new friends but I agree with you that I could easily go solo also. I have a very similar fan to yours which I also take everywhere I travel so I will most definitely take it on board!
Try MSC cruises!! If you liked RC, you'll love MSC. They've been around in Europe for years, new for the US. Sometimes they have Healthcare discounts too!
We have been on several cruises through Disney and it was a BLAST! Our first cruise was 5 days, 4 nights and both my parents were like yeah we will be going longer next cruise, the other 3 cruises we went on were 7-9 days, 7-8 nights.
Girlll you have to do the Alaska itinerary with carnival!!! I just went with my boyfriend on the splendor and seriously a once in a lifetime trip! We’re doing western Caribbean out of New Orleans next June🥳

I took a cruise the first week of August to Cozumel, Mexico and Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. We sailed with Carnival. There weren’t many kids on my ship. Our cruise director did say that Carnival is working on a cruise that is adult only that I will look into. I will probably sail with Royal Caribbean just to try them out. They have a trip to Greece that I would love to go on. Also a must for my next cruise is a reusable water bottle. I completely forgot one. 😂

Yes, cruising is additive and you're never alone on the ship. Tip for you, you don't have to come home with dirty clothes. I go to the laundry mat on the ship and come home with clean clothes to unpack.

I did carnival cruise for my honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! It was not a party crowd at all! It was so relaxed and so many fun things to do!
