The #flagship #CDplayer in Rotel‘s 15 Series.
Since 1982, when the CD was introduced, #Rotel has been refining technology and evolving circuitry to bring you extraordinary sound from the familiar silver disc. The #RCD1572, the outstanding CD player in Rotel's 15 series, focuses careful refinements to reveal even the most subtle nuances buried in a CD's pit spiral.
The RCD-1572 elevates performance by utilizing a purpose designed and built CD mechanism along with other circuit refinements. One of the RCD-1572's most important features is the Wolfson WM8740 digital filter/stereo digital-to-analogue converter. Originally developed for high resolution sources, it is the product of extensive research and real world testing and processes digital signals up to 24-bits in length at sampling rates from 8 kHz to 192 kHz.
The post-converter analogue circuitry benefits from Rotel's decades-long experiences in crafting the finest sounding pathway from the DAC's internal output to RCA and XLR rear panel connectors that bridge the gap between the RCD-1572 and down-stream components. All circuit components - resistors, capacitors, inductors - are chosen only after their positive contribution to sound quality were quantified and verified qualitatively by extensive listening sessions.
All of these circuits draw on a power supply based on an oversized custom Rotel-designed and precision-manufactured toroidal power transformer that, in turn, feeds precise rectifiers, tight-tolerance voltage regulators, and advanced Slit-Foil low-ESR storage capacitors, all globally sourced to ensure musically accurate operation under even the most demanding conditions.

Love the way he tosses everything aside 😂
Thank you S.E
Just bought the 1572 today wow! What a beautiful sound pairing with my primaluna prologue premium El 34 integrated amp and Totem Sttaf speakers.
Great news. I hope you enjoy it.
Do you still have it, are you satisfied with it?
Hello there.. Is this a step up from the a11 tribute.. Also is there a 1572 mk11 coming out.. Thanks
The A11 is an Amplifier, while the RCD-1572 is a CD player. Did you mean the CD-11 Tribute?
@@TLPCHC yes I did
The CD-11 Tribute is still bettered by even the CD-14 (MkI & MkII) and the RCD-1592 is a big and obvious improvement over both. The RCD-1592 is due now(ish).
Thanks for that.. Looking forward to this new unit
If you see a deal on the MkI grab it. The differences are very subtle
Why is the analog connection a better choice than using the digital coax?
I have a Rotel RA-1592 Integrated Amplifier it has a built in AKM premium 32 bit/768kHz DAC. If I use the digital coax won’t it use the DAC in the Amplifier?
The CD player has a lovely, really musicaly DAC on board. I personally prefer the analog output. It has a timing for the music I listen to that seems to be better then most Digital inputs. I guess with the digital inputs you have a choice to use one or the other (perfect example of a first world problem)
@@TLPCHC Can it be connected to a vintage amplifier like a Yamaha CA-1010 that has AUX or two inputs for tape decks for example?
Would love to hear your thoughts on performance, if possible. I had the 1570 and enjoyed it a lot. Wonder how this one compares? I did prefer the slot loading. The drawer, which is reported to be flimsy, is a downgrade in my opinion. Thanks. Best wishes to you and yours!
Hi Jan. I find the tray load light, but not flimsy. It is no McIntosh (with a steal tray) but I don't find it likely to break. I have a preference for tray load, because the rollers on slot loads can collect gunk and slip. Saying that... none of the above relates to sound quality. The RCD-1572 is a big step up in performance over the 1570. The DAC's and overall circuit topography is also better. Would I rush out to replace a 1570 with the 1570? Yes, yes I would... I would happily stop for a coffee on the way.
Beautiful reply! Thank you - you're very gracious sir! Should pair up nicely with the RA-1592 in my secondary system.
hi, is it better sounding than rcd 1072?
The RCD-1072 is a very old model now. The RCD-1072 was replaced by the RCD-1570 maybe 4 years ago and the 1592 came out about a year ago. The DAC's on the new model are much better and the overall sound is significantly improved.
How do u adjust the volume
This is a CD player. The function of volume adjustment is the job of an amp, or pre-amp.
@@TLPCHC thanks for for that
