This is a sad but credible account of what these brave woman did to help out some of the victims of the infamous death march somewhere in the Ranau district. These old women were just kids then. The older lady was rewarded by the Australian authority with a free passage to Ausralia before she passed away a few years later.
i am genuinely sad that this isn't a part of the national curriculum but can we just appreciate the fact that odu domima took the time to mention how the british didn't eat fish? 😅 also rip to her, she's such a strong soul 🥺
Kisah sedih bantu askar orang putih dan mereka bantu dengan memberi MA63. Kita lemah hanya mahukan keadilan untuk membawah perkara ini ke mahkamah antarabangsa supaya ada sikit keadilan ditunaikan. Amin
My father is one of the six survivers. Without the heroic assistance of the Dusun people he would not have survived, and my family myself my children and my granddaughter would not live today. In particular I would like to thank Barigah, and his bother and their families.
I am from primary school again interested in the history of this deadly march to ranau that killed nearly 2,434 Allied POW in Sandakan camp by Japanese Army at Borneo Sabah.
Yeah not wrong my father was one of the six survivors. Without the assistance of heroic Dusun people my extended family, myself, my children and my granddaughter would not exist today.
22-58 she said, "at that morning i was outside (frontyard) of her house feeding her livestock (a wild bornean bearded pig) " , "that house today is home to her litle sister", "I was hit by twig from someone who throws it at me twice", "i think it was a japanese soldier(she scared)", "Then I saw a hand waving at me", "its a hand signal (asking for food)", "minta makan-minta makan😭 = begging for food-begging for food", Damn this part got me hard, i cant imagine his condition waving his hand to a stranger begging for food with his weak body 😭😭😭
The older woman said, she was ordered by her father to give food to the australian prisoner. She was given a gold rings in the can by the prisoner and kept it in the hole on the ground. The other women said when she was 9/10 years old she once gave food to the pow in ranau while the japanese were not there..

No point in English titles if there are no English sub-titles. I want to know what these women are saying.
