The Rocktron BANSHEE Talkbox in action!

Here's my demo of the classic talkbox: The Rocktron BANSHEE.
Hear the talkbox on records by Bon Jovi, Peter Frampton, Steely Dan and many others - an underused piece of kit in my opinion - you don't program it: you perform with it. Different every time! Put it in front of a keyboard, guitar or any electric instrument - stick it in front of your pedals or after it! Or, stick and entire desk mix through it....

Great Tutorial! Just wanna say that Herbie Hancock did perform "I thought it was you" on a vocoder though, but it sounded nice with the talk box as you played it!

How do you wire this so it doesn't kill the amp ? So both the box and the amp are cranking at the same time

A sound man set mine up once so that the amp continued getting the signal when I turned the talkbox on so that i didn't lose any of the fullness in FOH. Does anyone know how I could recreate that?I can't locate the guy and i remember it was super simple (but that's all I remember about it)

Hmmmm. I don’t have one of these and also trying to figure out if I can incorporate with my fractal FM3. Maybe the sound guy used the effects loop on your amp? I see what you’re saying though. In this video he’s saying to go into the banshee with the guitar and out to the amp. However he also says when engaged the sound comes FROM the banshee and not the amp. This seems limiting. For me I want the amp sound from my fractal along with reverb. Here it’s just dry and driven by the banshee exclusively.
