I remember watching this as a kid and being terrified of being alone with elevators. 😂
Seeing this as an adult for the first time a few years ago, this is the best cinematography I've ever seen.

What about the actress who played the older sister? She was murdered by her boyfriend just 5 months after Poltergeist 1 was released, and the boyfriend spent less than 10 years in prison.

Poltergeist 1 is the greatest ghost movie ever created, but 2 & 3, even though not nearly as good, will always have a special place in my heart.
Part 2 is good. 3 is just terrible.

There are some wonderful practical effects and great camera work in this movie.
Not prefect like part one but very entertaining.

@Kenzie Editz I've been looking for this movie all my life and now I finally have found it, it's one of my earliest memories, watched it with my parents when I was 3 or 4 years old. It terrified me then, I've still not watched it since.

This isn't even the best from the poltergeist trilogy. Poltergeist 1 is the best ghost movie ever created.
