The Smoke is kne of the nices people of his stature you will ever meet. I knew him because I have a cousin who was a guitarist with Motown. I worked with Tiffany Haddish at Alasks Airlines, in the early 2000s, and one day Smokey flew on us. We chatted for a bit, and he went on up to the gate. I called some of my female co-workers who knew he was coming, and told them he was here. 15 minutes later, I get a frantic call from one of them because they can't find him. Well, Smokey was sitting on the floor, playing Backgammon with some other passengers. Such a great and humble brother.
