I have a brother three years younger than me. He was always a bit effeminate in his ways. When that song would come on the radio I always noticed he would always sing with feeling "I don't care if they start to avoid me, I don't care what they do." and ""people can change, they always do, haven't they noticed the changes in you." It was then I realized he was gay waaay before he ever came out. That song always had so much meaning to him.
