The avatar Roku had Kyoshi as his main guide. It must have been very hard, that woman didn't mess around.
First time they talked, he was feeling down for killing someone and Kyoshi’s response was essentially:
“Nah, keeping prisoners it too expensive. You did what you needed to do.” She’s kind of a maniac
There is a lengthy semi-official novel series of Kyoshi. Kyoshi had a very long career, canonically she either broke the record or came close to breaking the record for longest lived Avatar.
She lived to 230 or abouts.
I agree, I would have loved to watch a series on Kyoshi.

Kyoshi was one of the coolest characters to come out of Avatar, even though only having just a little screen time. All the scenes really stand out and are well done.

The Rise of Kyoshi and The Shadow of Kyoshi two novels by F.C. Yee cover her coming of age. They're excellent. Highly recommended exploration of young Kyoshi coming of age as the avatar.
Technically Kyoshi was bi but i think she preferred female companions. All hail our 7 foot queen of the ATLA-verse!

Chin wasnt short at all, Kyoshi was just really tall like u said 7 feet tall.
If ur wondering why people dont notice aang as the avatar, well aside from tattoos he cant be spotted. His orange clothes that stand out to us as airbender clothes can actually be mixed up festival clothes (as seen in The Deserter). So aang, to a normal guy would just seem like a festive dude.
Some People argue that this episode is filler but i disagree. Not only do we learn about kyoshi is a badass but we learn about the political duties of the Avatar.
Normal earthbender: Throws a rock / boulder.
Avatar Kyoshi: Actually moves an entire island hundreds and thousands of kilometers from the mainland.
A headcanon: it HAS to be sokka who does Aangs makeup.
While Theres not a tv series on her but there are 2 Kiyoshi Novels. Will definitely recommend u check it out after u finish the series.

1. Chin WAS short (definitely shorter than the average height of normal people in general).
2. Kyoshi is bisexual, not lesbian (cause it's still different).
I think the people that say it's filler completely forget the Zuko/Iroh storyline. That's a crucial plot point.
I noticed you said that you "Want to watch whole series of avatar Kyoshi". Well guess what, they did say that they will be making a movie just about her :) Nickelodeon made a new studio just dedicated to avatar called "Avatar Studios". There will also be a movie just about Zuko, and even a new cartoon about the next avatar in the cycle - earth.

Avatar Kiyoshi lived for like 300 years...she had to do alot of work after Kuruk did nothing to change the world while he was the avatar.
Kurruk was fighting off evil spirits almost all the time
You should read the Kyoshi novels, it delves a little more with Kuruk. He wasn't just doing nothing.
there are two really good books about Kyoshi and her origins the creators wrote and they are working on multiple movies on their own “avatar studios” project separate from netflix and with paramount+ not 100% sure when they are going to come but they are in production 11:42 and another airbending avatar when you get to that point. They are incredible novels and i can’t wait until the future of this universe

Know you watched these a while ago, but Kyoshi has 2 books about her life. They’re very good and yes, she’s a lesbian.
Sadly Kyoshi won't get her own show at least not from the Avatar studios.
However, there are some inside informations that some mayor scenes from the life of Kyoshi in F. C. Yee novels will be adapted in the new upcoming avatar animated series about the new earthbending avatar after Korra.

I get some hate for this, but this is my least favorite episode out of the 61 of the series. Kyoshi is an awesome character, but she doesn't save this episode for me.

Fun fact: All the Avatars are Gynosexual. So yeah, Kyoshi Roku Yangchen Kuruk Aang etc. They all have female companions 😂🤘🏽
Nah, all the Avatars are bi. Both Kyoshi and... other Avatar that we all know about but might technically be a spoiler at this point are attracted to both men and women, and we can extrapolate that all Avatars share that quality.
