There simply isn't enough praise, to heap upon this mans genius , determination and taste. Music lover's everywhere will always revere the great JOHN WILSON.
So clever!!!!I've loved it all ever since I was about 3 !!!
100% CORRECT JOHN WILSON, IS AN
IMPECCABLE MUSICIAN.
Love to hear his orchestra with Al Jolson songs, esp like China Town, April Showers........it would be amazing!!! What a talented man Mr. Wilson is!!!
Joyce Didonato is so sublime!
Saw the concert in Manchester --- brilliant arrangements - brilliantly played and sung
John Wilson passion for this great music, and the immense work and dedication he has put into achieving, what is a true complement to the great musicals of the past, and the wonderful orchestras of the past.
But I don't think it's possible to equal the sound of the great Hollywood orchestras they had a unique sound which is still revered today, especially the string section.
Very special documentary and takes.
WHAT A WONDERFUL VOICE!!!cONGRATULATIONS DAVID

What's the piece at 3:18?
It's an orchestral fragmentation of the interlude from "I'm gonna wash that man right outta my hair" (South Pacific).
